Location, it was a nice room for the price.
This was a clean, barebones motel, that felt tired and desperately needing some TLC. Nobody was trying to please. The comfortable bed and location near the Ohio University and downtown Athens are its only features.

Cons -

The room was dirty! There were dirty hand prints on the walls. The front door hardly closed, and the room had an odor.
Threadbare towels. Ice from the owners fridge, before 10 pm only. Free breakfast was lukewarm bad coffee. Overpriced by $20 for a $-- room. Stay only if it is the last place available in town, as it was for us.
