This New York motel is next to Watkins Glen Gorge and its 16 waterfalls. It features rooms with free Wi-Fi and cable TV. Watkins Glen International Raceway is 5 miles away. The Colonial Inn & Creamery offers rooms equipped with a refrigerator and an private bathroom. They are decorated with wood furnishings and light colors, and have a private entrance. This family-owned and operated motel also has free parking. Watkins Glen Golf Course is 2 miles from the Colonial Motel. Watkins Glen State Park is 5 minutes’ walk away. Pets are NOT allowed.

Pros +
- free coffee and a good location
- A lot. Staff is A-1. Renovations were in progress, so updated rooms next time I stay. Right in town. Walking distance to everything, especially the state park. And the ice cream! Pizza from the wood fired oven was a excellent also.
- Easy to get in and out of the room, able to park close. 2 a/c units were much appreciated since temps were in the 90s the entire time I was there.
Cons -
- Being an old building was fine, however the lack of a bedroom door and wall that only went partway up to the ceiling was undesirable. The only light was above the sink and the shower is in need of restoration.
- The window blind is broken and a curtain covers the AC.
- Check in time is a little late but we were able to get in early and stay much later than the check out the next day due to there being only one reservation. They were so accommodating.
