Just steps from Shinnecock Bay, this Southampton hotel is 2 miles from Cooper’s Beach. Hamelt Inn has a seasonal outdoor heated pool and offers free WiFi. A microwave, refrigerator and cable TV are standard in every room at the Hampton Hamlet Inn. All rooms have tiled floors and a covered patio with a small seating area. - hotel employee is a very hospitable manager. She was considerate and assisted with all our travel needs and provided so many wonderful recommendations for the area. The location is Connie any to every beach, eatery, and excursion you could possible want to visit!
- It was cute & cozy and it¿s small, it¿s like a cottage with nice landscape
- Location was awesome, very close to Stony Brook Southampton and a few easy minutes from the ocean.
Cons -
- Beds are very old - they need to be replaced
- Lighting, blinds, king bed not comfortable, shower temperature (turned scalding hot and cold suddenly), no ice machine, sign said mask required but staff didn't wear mask
- My only recommendation would be to install hooks in the bathroom to hang towels for drying
