    Pros +

    • I loved the architecture and interior design, as well as the location, beautiful grounds, and welcoming staff.
    • We were greeted at the door and given a tour of the home right up to our room. The room was Fantastic! It was squeaky clean and phenomenal in its charm and beauty. Everything felt plush and luxurious.
    • Luxury accommodations in an old beautiful mansion. We loved our 2-night stay. Breakfast was freshly made, and we enjoyed the fresh hot coffee served by the morning staff. Innkeeper is a wonderful host!

    Cons -

    • Compared to the glorious nature of the rest of the setting, the food was ok. We did see another couple chastised for having their phones out to take a selfie in the dining room. I understand not talking on the phone and the encounter was unnerving.
    • Like an outdoor seating area, but it was not ideal weather to sit out on the porch. Wishing the Inn had tours of the other mansion rooms. Would¿ve liked to see the whole ¿beauty¿ of the mansion by viewing the ornate rooms.
    • Nothing really--although there should have been a coffee pot out any 6am w/ cream.

Outstanding hospitality. Excellent breakfast. Loved the old historic details in the house but very comfortable and homey.

Charming old hotel. The staff was very accommodating. The breakfasts were very nice but one day there wasn't enough since we came down later than the other guests.

Need to turn the air conditioning on a little earlier than Memorial Day as it was quite warm in the rooms. 3rd floor rooms are a little tough with luggage and without an elevator and no bellhop.

Totally unique. Plenty of history and character.

Some signs of things being worn/old but that kind of goes with the charm of the place.

I just loved this place. I am so happy that we were able to afford to stay there. I realize that we got a deal because of covid but we would not be able to stay there during the height of season because of the price per night,

Nothing negative at all to say

Staff and Service was awesome from the moment we walked in!

Loved everything about my stay. The winter storm was coming to the area so I was debating should I even go but I did and had a great time. Now thinking why dont I do that every weekend - going away to relax? Thanks for the people of Batcheller Mansion!

    Cannot think of anything..
