Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Rome NY

There was no Internet service on the 4th floor, which is where my room was. I paid over $--- for a four-night stay; this is unacceptable. I had no service on my cell phone, tablet, or streaming services on the television.

Front Desk woman was very caring but she was only person at hotel.

Marriott was having issues with Internet/Phone/Television. Moved to 3 different rooms, we had to pack everything up each time because only front desk person for whole hotel. They had no idea what rooms affected so hit and miss attempts.

Nothing I didn't stay at all due to the rude and cruel behavior of their employees.

I didn't like the staff nor was the lobby clean.

Hotel under construction loud noises until 7pm and again at 815 am. No parking had to park on a dark street behind hotel. Woken by intoxicated guests around midnight staff asked them to settle down but it continued until 3am Hotel never contacted me.

The Hotel itself was fine. But nothing near by, like restaurants etc.

Check in was at 3:00 pm we got there at 2:15 was told the room will be ready in 10 to 15 min. There was nobody there. When up to the desk at 3:15 was told not ready.But then I was offer 2 queens instead of a king bed. I Am not sure what happen here.

Very nice hotel that served our needs as we were in the area for a concert. Comfortable beds, friendly staff and a pool checked all our boxes

The room was nice size and clean, updated. The shower was great!

The breakfast was terrible. There was no one to clean the counter or refill the food.asked the girl at the counter she totally ignored me, said that's what we got. She was talking with three other employees and seemed to be annoyed that I interrupted her

The breakfast was decent and had enough variety. However there was nay when the girl brought out scrambled eggs they were mushy and not cooked enough. The coffee was excellent. I liked the hat you could get coffee 24/7.

I Am a handicap senior citizen who needs room with roll in shower. Reserved room with roll in shower. However when we checked there was no room available until Sunday. Totally un acceptable and the clerk got attitude when we wanted t talk to a manager.

Rooms were very clean

Yes, I was there on October 6-8 and I went down to ask the receptionist for something and the other employee came in behind the counter and started complaining about stuff ( my women was new) they started speaking not nice in a loud tone.

This is the second time I rented a room from this location. The rooms I have had needed a tiny bit of love but they are in the process of renovating. I have no complaints about this hotel.

The staff has been very welcoming, both times I stayed there. They provide a nice breakfast and I was impressed with the beautiful Christmas decorations.

Clean, nice staff. Could use more on the breakfast like sausage or bacon but otherwise very good.

It's very quiet and clean.

The location is a bit out of the way. Not a lot of dining options nearby.

limited choice for breakfast (no bagels, we do like the waffle maker), pool closes very early so we didn¿t get to try.

Responsive staff. Breakfast room up to date, nicely set up, accommodated lots of morning life. The fire alarm evacuation was handled well by staff. Fortunately, the weather was also pleasant.

The location was very convenient,and the room was well-appointed.

They only provide housekeeping services after 3 days. This is apparently an industry "trend", but I am not happy with having to make my own bed, while paying the same rates I paid WITH daily housekeeping. I'm seriously considering going the AirBnB route

Broken sink. Broken lock on door. Crappy thin towels not folded. Less than a third of two rolls of toilet paper (no spare rolls on shelf) Ripped shower curtain. This was not worth 150.00 for one night.

The staff was friendly and helpful.

The rolling carts used to get our luggage were falling apart to the point of being dangerous.

The pool was closed. I already booked an extended stay in July before knowing about the pooL The hotel is being renovated in October and may not reopen the pool until renovations are complete. I enjoy using the pool. I am very disappointed.
