Great Escape Lodge & Indoor Waterpark

Staff friendly

Accessibility, too many things were not available at times, (arcade, lazy river, coffee stand). Calling a room accessible when it really isn't.

The room was clean

Its very much overrated. I would of expected at least 10 water rides. People do stay just for that experience and it was 75 degrees in the hotel and waterpark I read every thermostat. And 2 rides were not accessible due to technical issues

The staff were great with the issue of the water park being closed

The dust on the chandelier main lobby. Our room had dust in the ac, food under the couch water in batjhroom shower water shut off and back on

The staff was super friendly and accommodating. The waterpark is obviously the star attraction and the kids had a blast!

They closed one of the larger slides for basically a whole day we were there which was disappointing since it is such a small place.

As we walked into the room, I could see both beds and huge indentations on both beds of where people have sat overtime. When I got into the beds, they were the most uncomfortable mattresses I have ever slept on and they hurt my back. Room was old/dirty

The bathroom was dirty and smelly the AC was bringing a bad smell as well.

The Hotel staff was great. We had a few issues with the room but the staff took care of the issues in a timely manner.

Rooms were not themed at all average regular hotel room, super over priced,definitely thought the water park was bigger...

There's a lot to do, and it's all really close and convenient.

A tad dated and needing some updating. The room smelled a little bit like marijuana upon check in. A lot of the games in the arcade don't work properly. The claw machines are garbage.

Waterpark included

Side door entrance didn't work, had to put something in door to keep open to get back into hotel.

Weekend celebration for my son's birthday. He loved the indoor Waterpark. Easy access to get to, very clean & staffed with many lifeguards!!

The first night couldn't sleep too many kids running around, sound like they were jumping off beds next door up until 1 AM. Should have complained but didn't.

The room and service was beyond what I expected. Everyone was nice and had zero issues in room or in the Waterpark. Felt safe with our kids and will do this again. This is not a place if you want to rest it's a kids hotel

Having the indoor waterpark and restaurants gives you the option of just staying in the resort and relaxing. Plus staying at the resort gives you big discounts on passes for the Great Escape amusement park accross the street.

The sofa bed had a flimsy foam mattress that was entirely inadequate for an adult to sleep on. They also seemed to have problems with indoor air circulation in the hallways, some passages were very stuffy and much hotter than the outside temperature.

Was not as clean as it should be stains on carpet and walls. Bathroom door didn¿t shut. Room door needed to be pushed hard to close

It was so understaffed they closed parts or the waterpark, no hot water , no towels, 35 min wait to get a take out drink in their restaurant. Not worth the massive amount we paid .

Kids liked the water park

Check in took forever. Our mini fridge had someone else¿s leftovers in it. I mentioned it to the front desk. It was cleaned while we were out but no apology.

Room was comfortable. The entire hotel was very clean with friendly staff. Our kids really enjoyed the waterpark space.

The attached restaurant was definitely understaffed. We left after waiting 20 minutes to be seated.

The water park was Fablous.

The noise level was crazy. Kids running up and down the halls screaming till 11-1130 I had to call security at 12 to speak to our neighboring room as they were sooo very loud no continental breakfast. For the price I won't revisit.

very outdated. off season so activities inside the hotel for kids is limited. The arcade is way overpriced especially for a family with more than 1 child. The lifeguards seemed annoyed and the water park itself does not look well kept. Needs improvements

The indoor water park and the location. Very close to activities around Saratoga and Lake George.

Room was a little run down. Bathroom was dirty, front door was scratched , and run down. The lights next to the bed didn't work. Realize it's a family hotel, but we had people next to us and above us running and screaming until 12:30 a couple night
