Location

The smell of marijuana when we walked into and out of our room was the ¿high point¿ of our stay.

Yes, everything.

Location was near to where I needed to go.

If you wanted to learn how to sleep on bed springs stay there. had to go to office to get soap.

This quaint little motel was perfect for my needs. The lovely family running was exceptional. The scenery was beautiful and the town was adorable.

Not a thing

The owner or operator was very nice. He was very prompt when we needed something.

There is a sign for Coffee and Ice, but they do not provide either. They should provide coffee. Or at least remove the sign.

The owners were very nice. I accidentally booked for a day before I needed it. Concerned that I hadn't shown, they called. They very generously changed my reservation to the following night.

The motel is VERY rundown. The water has an odor, as does the room. Towels were obviously very old and thin. I hope they are able to update everything.

Upon arrival we did not even park…pictures are very discieving… looked as though people were living there very unsettling environment

The appearance of the property was concerning… besides the upkeep in general it was very unsettling

The staff was very accommodating and very polite

Next door to the family that owns or runs the motel so it got rather noisy through the connecting door

It was a quiet, old roadside motel. Good for my trip with just a bed for an overnight stop.

The Location is good.

This place is infested with bedbugs. It also dirty. Looks like they don't change bedsheets between guests. And they don't return money even if you don't stay. Booking.com doesn't help.

Just the location. The place was not clean and very old and outdated.

It did what it had to do. Was only there for one night. Happy that there was a room left when we needed.

The owners live on site and were very pleasant and helpful.

They are not serving breakfast due to COVID. Most of the time the internet was not working in my room.

Breakfast did not exist. I knew this before I made my reservations. Thus, I prepared for this. I brought a bag of bagels and some granola bars. Plus somthing to drink. This suited me fine. The room, while dated, was clean and well kept. The bed was neat and the blankets and sheets were very clean. The staff were very good to talk to and very helpful in answering any question that I had. I'm not very technically inclined and one staff member came to my room to help me on one occasion.I will gladly stay there again.The rural setting of the Sunrise Motel is very nice. It has a very substantial lawn. It is very quiet and not much traffic. The walk I took was along the local road with very little traffic and very enjoyable for a country walk, which I do not often get a chance to take.

To be honest I can not think of any major issues. Oh yes. I thought of one. The door locks have been well used and on the door of this room, were wearing down. For over 25 years I often had to travel for my job. I have stayed at much inferior places. My opinion is that this motel has suffered from the Covid 19 pandemic shut down and will recover. This is a good place to stay. What I did not care for was the comment by a previous guest that the shower was spilling over the side because the curtain did not close properly. This person could easily have moved the nozzle of the shower and pointed it a bit toward the rear of the shower stall. Problem solved. I tried this and it worked. No spilling.

Spacious room and large bed. Friendly staff and check in and out was quick and easy process.

The bathroom was a little bit on the smaller side and needed some work, the AC unit was a little banged up but we managed to get it to work.

owners are very kind and nice and very accommodating to all your needs it's out of town very peaceful very quiet very clean I would recommend this place to anyone it's affordable and a great place to stay

We had low water pressure and the fridge, microwave and air conditioner was all unplugged

When I arrived, the owner was very friendly and accommodating. I requested a delayed check out time and the owner graciously complied! I was extremely grateful for their customer service and well kept room. I was given a room immediately and even though it was a smoking room, the room smelled very fresh and clean. This hotel has free wifi and a lot of available free parking. There was a minifridge, air conditioning and a microwave included in the room. Thank you for a great stay!

There was nothing that I didn't like. This motel is a nice, quiet and affordable place to stay!

The place has good wi-fi in the room I occupied. It is conveniently located on the western outskirts of Owego.

This is a very modest, older motel, and was quite expensive given what was provided. They get away with this because other motels in the area have higher prices. The sound travels between rooms, and you can hear the person in the next room coughing. I booked this place because it was the cheapest in the area, but you get what you pay for. I have booked other motels nearby in Owego at only slightly higher prices that were much newer and in better shape. I have nothing against this place other than the high price for what you get,. I have stayed there before and my expectations were set accordingly.

Offset from road, easy to find. Linens clean and staff friendly, lowest price in area.

Bathroom very small all around, beds hard, ugly, old and enlarged base ensures you hit your leg. Needs a total facelift. Cable partial, not many available channels. No coffee, thin complimentary soap and pillows way too soft.
