    Pros +

    • Location. This was my third stay at the Hotel. My friends booked a separate room for the week, and we were shocked and disappointed to discover that none of the F&B outlets were open when we checked in. We received no prior information about this.
    • Cleanliness, Hotel Staff was very welcoming, and location was great.
    • Location is great, staff is extremely friendly and very accommodating

    Cons -

    • Sensitivity to our concerns could have been improved
    • restaurant/bar was transitioning to new ownership and unavailable.
    • City view room we paid extra for was not a great view. Room alarm clock went off at 6 am and woke us up early (we did not set the alarm)

Great location! Very good staff, cool restaurant & cool rooftop bar and fun happy hour cocktails & energy.

An ice machine vs. ice service would be better. Small fridge or option for a small fridge in room would be better. More rooms with windows onto the facade would be ideal but not realistic.

Amazing service from the staff. We felt welcomed and well taken care of. Excellent housekeeping! The room decor was elegant. The Jonathan Adler Citrus & Sandalwood toiletries were really nice, too.

I didn?t like the daily destination fee.

    Very clean

It¿s a given in New York that hotel rooms are small good thing we did not bring luggages since it¿s just an overnight stay otherwise it would have been tighter for us

Everything- the room was beautiful-  the front desk was ABSOLUTLEY amazing! she was so helpful and gave all the good NYC tips! the free happy hour drink was great, and we ended up hanging out there for awhile, everyone was so nice.

nope! loved it would stay again!!

Great location, service, very clean comfortable room. Nice restaurant and library

    No, loved the hotel

    9Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 9-4-2018

Hotel location was good. Had the room right across from the elevator and was worried about the house but it was not an issue. Hotel employee was very helpful at check-in.

    7DebraPosted on: 8-14-2018

    Friendly staff.

Had to pay to upgrade to a Queen/Double/King bed. No complimentary breakfast even though it says on the website.

    9Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 6-1-2018

The staff's friendliness and helpfulness were exceptional!

The pillows were way too fluffy/big and no drawer space for our clothes

    8Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 4-24-2018

People in the hotel were nice.

The room was too small. And the towel in the hotel wasn't very clean. It was some hair inside the towel.

    8AudreyPosted on: 12-20-2017

The Queen bed was really only full size, yet when i inquired about it they said “that is the size of our Queen-sized bed”.

    Location, room, amendities

The internet was horrible. I would have paid extra but that was not available

    7Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 10-17-2017

Staff was sweet and helpful. Rooms and bathroom were clean. Area wise may not be for people looking for a posh neighbourhood though close to everything and very central. Great coffee shop next door (close to Covina entrance).

The rooms and toilet are just too small “ like tiny” - felt like it would be difficult to close the bathroom door if you are not petite. It’s a very good 3.5 star, but if it’s being given 4 star rating then it’s definitely falling short.

    7ChristopherPosted on: 12-20-2016

    - Requested a bottle in advance, to be waitin my room, which was NOT. - Neighboring room was super loud all night. Not the hotels fault though. - Clean, modern, close to the 6-line subway. - I would return.

    Loud neighbors

    10Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 12-9-2016

Great location, very comfortable beds, newly renovated, small and cozy hotel which means it's QUIET (a real perk in NYC), great staff, stylish restaurant. My favorite in the area!

    9JohnPosted on: 6-21-2016

My girlfriend and I came back late a little intoxicated and we realized (out loud) that we forgot to buy some water bottles. As we were getting into the elevator, a quick-thinking member of staff ran over and handed us two water bottles. Nice

Room was a little small but that's nyc

    10Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 3-22-2016

I absolutely love the size, decor, comfort and location of this boutique hotel. The staff is simply amazing too! This is my 2nd stay at this hotel and will always choose it when I return. Even their smallest room is comfortably cozy.
