Pros +
- the staff was super helpful and friendly, and it¿s the best location I¿ve stayed in so far during my NY visits. Honestly the location alone was almost enough to make up for other shortcomings.
- Amazing and friendly staff
- Close to soho and a lot of subways. Ok room and hotel.
Cons -
- Room was dingy and much smaller than pictured/noted in the online listing. Many of the room¿s lights didn¿t work or there was some weird trick to them, and not a single USB outlet worked. Wi-fi almost non-existent after 8pm. Milk at coffee bar was sour.
- There is a weed store next to the hotel, and the entire hotel smells like weed. Disgusting
- Walls seemed thin. Could hear neighbors.

Smack dab in the middle of a lot of exciting places.
Walls seemed thin. Could hear neighbors.
they serve coffee but no breakfast, which is fine. There is an excellent bodega across the street where yu can get breakfast and have it in your room. A very nice place, called butcher's duaghter is also cose by (for brekfast0.
i have nothing to complain about.
I've stayed here several times and the Nolitan never disappoints. I'm a light sleeper, clean freak and often in the city with a busy work schedule. The hotel is so quiet and cozy, always spotless and is easy access to the subway and countless great cafes / restaurants within a 3 minute walk. This trip in particular stands out to me in regards to the staff. I needed additional assistance and Sherieka was quick to offer me a solution, but most importantly Sherieka saw me as a person and not just a reservation.
The shower was massive. The neighbourhood was amazing – so full of character, amazing shops, bars and restaurants, and great location near China Town, Little Italy, the East Village, and Williamsburg Bridge.
The heating system in the room was somewhat confusing.
Freezing and awful
These was no heating in the room when it was a - 14 celcius snow storm outside. I called to complain and was told nothing was possible. This is not a hotel stay - chasing a refund. Disgusting.
Central location. The room was reasonably clean.
The room I booked through Booking.com was not available on arrival. I was given a smaller room and was assured it would be for only one night - the noise insulation in this room was terrible, especially considering how busy Kenmare Street is, and the quality of the sleep reflected it.The following day, the person at reception had not been informed of the issue, and I was told that the room I had booked would not be available for another three days. I checked out and moved to another hotel, but not after I had been charged for one bad night's sleep in a room I didn't book.
Good price. Great location.
The window in our room was very dirty.
Location
It's always kind of dirty in the rooms, the mattresses seem beaten to death, and the dumb lights with the green buttons are so weird and impossible to use
Everything was excellent in my stay. This is the third time I go, and the location and services are super comfortable. The team supported me with everything I needed, even received packages that I sent that arrived perfectly and were delivered also perfectly. The place is beautiful and practical.Thank you so much!

I can have a discount! So I can stay more time.
The room was very clean and had all the necessary amenities, including an umbrella and a Yoga mat.
I didn't like the $300 deposit, and it was still outstanding for almost a week after, or even longer, after I finished my stay. It does not look welcoming at all when guests check in. I saw several of the guests, who were surprised by this, just like me, in a not-so-good way. Not a pleasant surprise: $300 at the beginning of exploring New York.
Everything was great. The staff was present and accommodating and friendly. The room was beautiful. Dinner was perfect.
Everything was great
Not much.
Room was lacking so much:Dirty floorsNo towel racks Bed was a queen, yet comforter was a full. Not enough to cover two people. Needed heavier blankets this time of year.Overhead light fixture did not work. Banged up furniture Lobby was dark and disheveled, with mismatched furniture. Entryway was uninviting. Truly not a boutique hotel. There's a lot of work that needs to be done to make the space decent. I hope they get it together! The restaurant is beautiful. Go figure!

Perfect location and wonderful staff.
It was nothing to not like it. The place is Gem. My friends own events companies I told them to send clients there.
Excellent location, on side road with less traffic. Many food options close by
Small room, but that’s expected in a major city.
Great location and design
It was poorly maintained, staff could have been nicer
