The location was great, the views were great, the room was just fine for a solo traveler, the balcony was a great bonus. The staff were all lovely and helpful. Great cheap and delicious food nearby, easy to walk everywhere and easy to get to the subway etc.

Not a big deal for me, but the soundproofing could be an issue for someone else

There's nothing I felt like I needed. Everything was fantastic. I guess if there were amenities to know about, i wish i was told about them upon check in, but really, I'm just making up something not to like. I can't recommend this hotel enough

The room was a bit small for two of us. Coat hook on the wall would have been good as it’s winter and freezing outside wearing coats hats gloves etc having somewhere to hang them rather than the small wardrobe would have been good. Also the beds were very hard.

Clean, good location, friendly staff

Only downside was that no matter how high we turned the heat, it was still cold (especially the bathroom after the shower!) I wore thermal layers to bed.

The staff members are super kind and helpful. The gym is well equipped.

The heater in our room was so loud, we had to turn it off to sleep, so then it got pretty cold.Also, the bathroom had mold in the sink and shower.

Due to availbility around holidays we paid 3 more times than normal rate and for that reason the value was not matched the property. However the man at the reception was super helpful wehn we wanted to use the sauna. Having abalcony was a great bonus.

The Allen Hotel is the best. I have been staying here for years, each time I am in New York City.

Good location in LES

Rooms were outdated, incredibly tiny and dirty. Wallpaper was peeling off the walls and outlets didn’t work. Loud hallways which you could hear from your room. WiFi barely worked. Shower handles popped off.

The location is excellent. We loved the rooftop as well! Staff was helpful and kind.

The beds are a bit firm and small but overall comfortable stay!

Hard to figure out heating/cooling system in room. Bed was super hard. Walls were paper thin and could hear our neighbors phelating each other all night

Great location, with cafes and shops nearby. There are two subway stations within a 10-minute walk. There is a gym and two saunas (Finnish and Turkish) on the basement level. Everything is a bit dated, but functional.

The hotel inside looks a bit tired; the balcony door didn't close tightly, so the room was a bit drafty. Housekeeping has to be requested (activated via a panel).

Initially, the front desk was a bit unsure and couldn't locate my reservation despite showing proof of payment from the booking app. Luckily, I was able to pay again easily and cancel the reservation through booking.com.
