- An Amazing New Year’s Eve...
- A really nice hotel with easy access to the subway and great views of the Empire State Building from our room. The staff was friendly and prompt, housekeeping did a great job, and the beds were comfortable.
- Great location, very walkable. Friendly staff.
Cons -
- We spent New Year's Eve at the hotel with my daughter, and had an amazing experience. From the moment we arrived, the service was outstanding, particularly Genessy, who from the moment we arrived, greeted us with genuine kindness and made us feel welcome right away (sort of home away from home). The location is perfect, and our room had a perfect city view; it’s sort of your perfect way to start the day, too. Even though we were on a higher floor during a busy, celebratory holiday, the noise was minimal, making it very relaxing. After lond day, it was the perfect place to unwind and recharge. We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it.
- There were long wait times for elevators during peak hours and showers often ended with too much water on the floor of the room.
- Rooms small

The staff were amazing and so helpful
Wish I could have visited the rooftop terrace, however my son was aged 9 :(
the design that’s about it
the customer service, the Heat wasn’t working and it was 15 degrees outside. no special accommodations , the downtown property has less amenities but my experience was much better especially because of the staff
Loved most of it! The view is stunning!
For the girlies who want to take a shower without washing their hair, they don’t have a moveable shower head. And no toilet brush.
The location is great. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
The rooms are tiny, no place to open a suitcase no drawers! You have to hang the close of a few nails on the wall. The water are linking from the shower to the toilet. No place to sit except the bed. No place to place anything.
The shower was great. Higher floor rooms with a view are worth the extra charge.
The hotel takes a "resort fee" of $35 per night. I figured we would at least have this amount to spend in the hotel with credits, but they give you only $20 per night for that (it was $30 before). Significantly less than I expected. Of course the prices are designed so that you absolutely have to pay on top of that no matter what you take at the hotel. The rooms are very small, luggage can barely fit.And my main issue: I already read a comment that someone was charged for a water bottle that they did not take. The exact same thing happened us. On checkout I took a look at the bill and saw a $7 water bottle on it. I told the staff that we never took one and they said okay, it will be removed. Except it wasn't. Wrote to them later, they said it will be refunded. It wasn't. On top of the price of 9 nights at their hotel they just had to take 7 more dollars.
Location is great, Le Fleur was lovely.
The room is very cozy, and the doors don’t latch unless it’s pulled hard
Very good
I booked this hotel because of the rooftop bar/restaurant which ended up being closed with no advice
The choice of room given on a really high floor facing the Empire State Building was a very nice touch.
The shower drain is not properly aligned and will allow water to come out onto the hotel room floor. It got so bad that the floor was filled with water damaging some of my spouses clothes.
Super friendly front desk staff. Asked for a quiet room with a view of the Empire State - traveling with kids - and they totally came through, this was one of the quietest hotel rooms we've ever stayed in and the view was great. The room was actually larger than we expected by quite a bit! Killer location for what we were up to, and a quick walk to the High Line.
Pillows could use a serious upgrade, and beds were made up with only a fitted sheet and a blanket, which was both thought-provoking (do they wash those blankets after every guest?) and hot. Bunk beds are pretty creaky, if you have super light sleepers the upper bunks are likely to wake the bottom sleeper.
We chose this property for a staycation to celebrate our anniversary and booked a king room with a city view. In the reservation notes, we mentioned the occasion and requested that the room be prepared accordingly. The property responded promptly the same day, assuring us they would do their best.Upon check-in, a staff member, Steven, warmly congratulated us and informed us that they had selected the best available room. The view was exceptional, and rose petals had been arranged on the bed, adding a thoughtful touch. The service was attentive and highly appreciated.
Location and the view was spectacular
Elevators to roof top was confusing. Also, keeping up with room credit each day. Wish it had a better system.
The location was good
The room facilities were far below par for the price. The shower leaked into the toilet and the room as it was not properly sealed off. Upon complaining multiple times i was told nothing could be done. There is nowhere to hang your clothes or put your luggage.
Location like most properties in NY it has great access to the subway.
The whole experience wasn’t great . I had 2 rooms booked . One was ready but the second wasn’t . I no stage did they let me know the room was ready . My daughters did get into there room till 11pm 6 hours after checking. The staff had no interest in the problem and just said for me to talk to the staff in the morning as he has just started his shift . The whole time we were there I didn’t hear from anyone .Alao there was construction next door . I feel these things should be mentioned at time of booking like air bnb.
The room was comfortable and small but met our needs well. We requested a nice room and received one with an exceptional view of the Empire State Building, which was awesome.
The shower was comfortable with great water pressure and plenty of hot water; however, the door leaked significantly, and water came out onto the floor each time. We had to request a towel to blot it up, which was fine, but it was inconvenient.
Although the room was small you are definitely paying for the location which was ideal and close to everything. The cafe was very accessible and heaps of choices to choose from in the hotel. Friendly and helpful customer service greeting us each and every morning
The time of room cleaning could have been a bit earlier as when we got back to our room at 4-5pm the room had still not been cleaned.
I experienced a duplicate charge for my stay. The hotel confirmed that two payments were taken, but for more than 10 days they have been unable to process the refund.Communication is very slow (about one message per day), and the issue keeps going in circles without resolution.Despite multiple follow-ups, I still have not received my money back. This situation should have been resolved quickly, but unfortunately it wasn’t.I would not recommend this hotel based on how payment issues are handled. As a side note, the hotel charges $7 for a bottle of water that costs $2 at a nearby store, despite room rates of around $400 per night.Very disappointing experience and poor customer service.
I relied on the reviews when I booked this place. But I was very disappointed. The foyer is very congested. It felt like a disaster waiting to happen - there is barely room to line up for the elevators. How do they not get cited for safety? There were other hotels on the street with spacious and inviting front desks. In case of a disaster, not even sure how they will evacuate all the guests through such cramped spaces. The only thing I liked was the location.
The room was very small. I paid a little extra for a “room with city view”. It was a view of the near by apartments and the tops of buildings. I had A/C on at 68 F. Still, the room was stifling due to its size. We couldn’t sleep for half the night. We had tiny carryons and barely had room for those. We had a 20.00 credit. On the last day, I figured we could get some breakfast. There were a few items on display and no breakfast. It was manned by Francesca who was very very rude. She could use some training in professionalism. We were guests, not soliciting. For the little there was to serve, not sure what she was so stressed out about. The yogurt parfait made me very sick.
