La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Times Square South

Location was good.

Lobby smelled bad. Breakfast area is very small and in the basement with limited seating. Room was very small. Rude staff.

The location was perfect, very centrally located (times square, theatre district, subways, etc) and yet was still so quiet. The staff was friendly and great, Staff went above and beyond to help us make the most out of our trip.

It was very clean and staff was friendly I read all the reviews and was unsure because the ratings were mixed but the room was actually very clean everyone there was extremely nice and very helpful I would definitely go back

I was really one small thing that was wrong the shower door when closed have a gap which makes the floor wet so I just put a towel on the floor solved it for me

The front desk staff and management were great, helpful, welcoming and friendly. I will definitely stay here again.

One of the front desk guys was very rude when I had to extend my stay another day due to the snow storm in January my flights were canceled. He was chatting it up with another couple in Spanish but acted like I was a bother. I left another review about him though for my stay on 26th. Other than that, the lobby is so tiny and breakfast was pretty lack luster. No meat options at all. Waffles, eggs, muffins is it.

We got stuck in the snow storm in January and flights cancelled. The guy at the front desk was very rude and inconsiderate. I spoke with a nice man the night before check out I told him we needed to stay one more day. He said ok you can rebook online. Stay in same room. So I do that and next day I go down and check out to check in and the guy says it’s not the exact same room I had a bigger room for the week and all that was left is a smaller king. So he made us pack up and leave. Literally nowhere to go cause of the storm! We sat in the small lobby all our bags to wait and check in again. He then says do you want to check in? I say yes! He just gets the room keys and hands them to me. Why you have an attitude? We stayed multiple days, flights cancelled I’m having to rebook everything and he has the attitude? Left a bad taste in my mouth!

As far as hotels go it was very well priced for its location. the staff was always friendly and ready to help and the facilities were clean. in addition, the front doors were always locked and only accessed through room keys which was very nice to see and made my wife and I feel safe.

the breakfast area is cramped and crowded and the breakfast offering left a lot to be desired. it certainly wasn't a complete deal breaker but given that breakfast was one of my primary reasons for booking this hotel I did expect a little more.

The location was great; you're close to all the action.

The room was a bit small and a little too dark for my taste.

The hotel room was small but had all that we needed for a one night stay.

The property is very central, just 10 minutes from Times Square and other central areas. The staff is very professional, the rooms are clean and well-maintained. Congratulations to everyone, and we'll be back soon with another group at the same property.

The location of this hotel is fabulous. 5 mins to times square, 15 mins to rockerfella centre, 5th avenue etc. 20 mins on the subway to fidi.Breakfast was good but quite chaotic at times. The room is tiny and people were having to stand at times to eat.It was an American style breakfast...
