    Pros +

    • Nice rooms
    • Hotel was great, 5 minute walk to the Hudson Yards subway station, and Hudson yards. Was a bit quieter than other locations. Street noise wasn’t bad.
    • The view was amazing. The hotel was clean and modern. It was quiet. Elevators were fast and we never had to wait for than a minute. Front desk was friendly enough. The room was smaller but seemed much larger than it was A+

    Cons -

    • We were scheduled for 2 rooms with 3 people in each room and were given 2 rooms with king sized beds. We begged for air mattresses which were eventually brought, but both had holes in them and our kids were sleeping on the floor.
    • There is a $200 hold that was not disclosed anywhere in the information about the hotel. Understandable just wish I had known ahead of time.
    • The air conditioning worked but it struggled to get it under 73 even with it set to 69. Which is mostly ok but with the humidity (which was awful) it needed to be lower. The front desk lady we to talked to had no idea about the subway system.

Beds were comfortable. Convenient location. Queen sized beds. Nice linens. Cleanliness. Good water pressure in shower. I liked the wide window sill, it was useful. Male member of housekeeping staff on our floor was friendly and helpful.

There was an additional $200 charge added to my bill?? (Please explain.) There wasn't enough lighting on one side of the room which made working at the desk difficult. Not enough places to put luggage (had to use the ironing board).

    Your hotel gave me and...

On February 7th, me and my wife wanted a night away from the kids and dogs. We went to a show in Brooklyn and came to check in. Check in was easy with no problems. I get up to the room around 11pm and the room is cold. I mean i was able to see my breath. I paid for a suit and got a nightmare along with it. The suit was 215. Nice room but the room was cold after 3 hours still. I called the front desk once. They said that someone would come up, guess what no one came. I called back finally someone came. The engineer was so great and was truly doing his best to help us out. Nothing worked at all. He came back 3 times still nothing helped. I paid 400 for the suit and laid in my clothes all night and my winter coat. I speak 500 on tickets to the event. This was our valentine date because my wife mother has dementia and we can't leave her. It took mountains to get this date away for my wife. I told the front desk about cold room and all the guy said was he would give me a few snacks from the snack area. He had the dumbest look on his face like a deer in head lights. Do better please Marriott with your hiring. That was very insulting. Your hotel had me and my wife in our clothes with coats on all night. We didnt even get in the bed because the cover was so cold. We ended up leaving at 5am. I wore gloves all night and a jacket. They didnt even offer a different room because they had a cheerleaders all over the hotel. Food was over flowing on the floor. Garbage came was full. I cam truly say that was a nightmare night. I most definitely wouldn't spend a dime here again or tell anybody to stay there. No one knows how much it took to get us to have this night.

    Location and rooms

No room service if you arrive late from airport and bar/restaurant hours could be better

    9AshleyPosted on: 2-4-2026

The location of the property, how clean and easy it was to keep in contact with the staff. The view wasn’t the view I booked for but it was okay.

No breakfast included but they did have restaurants downstairs, and the room wasn’t the right room or view I booked for months a head of time. The slow crowed elevators.

    Property was lovely and comfortable

My only downside of my stay was the the customer service received on the phone prior to arrival, front desk during check in and also when I called the front desk from the room. I believe there is a back office also that picks up call for the front desk and they were also unnecessarily unprofessional at times. I called to check if I could have a cot in the room and they rudely told me no and said I would need to change to a King Room when I had booked a double room. They said it was illegal for them to give me a cot in a room that already had two beds because of fire safety and said it would need to change to a king. Even though earlier a member of our family wanted to PAY for an extra room and ask for a king room on our floor and they told us there were none. As soon as I asked for the cot there was suddenly an available king room on our floor that they wanted me to change to. Once I got downstairs to complain the lady behind the counter said it was no problem at all to have a cot in a double room. These inconsistencies and unnecessary rudeness from some of the staff make the stay less enjoyable. If they could look into this it would make sure that their guests have wonderful stays because the hotel itself is lovely.

    Pet friendly!

The only thing to add would be on-site parking. But the lot was close.

Loved the really comfy beds, the well equipped gym, the great location and the food/breakfast in the morning!

The staff at this hotel is phenomenal. Gormet tok the time to adjust our bill (due to my mistake). The front desk staff greeted us each time we entered, always asked if we needed anything, and were just super nice!

Sliding door to bathroom would be better as an actual door for privacy. I understand space only allows so much.

The hotel is upscale and the staff is lovely.

The air in the room was very dry and made it hard to sleep.

Room size was probably the biggest plus for us as a family of four. We had plenty of space without feeling cramped. The restrooms were also a really great size. Beyond that the service there was great we had an early check-in that was accommodated for us and even though we had a hot water issue the hotel sent somebody to fix it right away. Location wise it was a perfect place and not really too crowded of an area.

Can’t really say, I disliked anything enough to write about it.

Location and staff was excellent. Room was clean and had everything I needed. Wonderful stay

Nothing, I enjoyed every part of my stay

Did not dine at the Hotel, however the location was perfect.

The room didn’t provide enough space to accommodate one’s lodge and air conditioning was noisy.

    8MaxPosted on: 1-19-2026

Location was great!! Gym was nice. Facilities was clean and staff was helpful. Plenty of places to sit in the lobby and in the lower level. Room was clean and had nice views. Was easy to get an Uber and lots of attractions near by. Lastly, the best part was that they let me late-check out at 1 PM!! Huge WIN!!

Lines at the front desk were long, I observed this throughout the stay as well. The front desk lady seemed like she just wanted me to be gone. Probably b/c I was sweating but that's b/c it was over 100 degrees outside!! And I just walked a few blocks (with two luggages and a bookbag). The biggest issue was that I searched hotels with "sofa bed" as the keyword. The photos even showed a sofa bed. When I checked in, NO SOFA BED! I should've called the front desk asap but I was in a rush to shower and pick up a family member. I did call when I returned but they could only provide an air mattress at that time. Room was small too. Other than that, everything else was great!I would still stay here b/c of the location.

The sympathy and apology from front staff on the price I was paying for the room!

I paid $805 for a double room. Not cool. Price variability is too high and the pricing algorithms can leave a customer with a feeling that they are victims of price gauging. This room was worth no more than half what was paid particularly since I asked other guests in the elevator what they were paying amd the answer for a standard king was $225 on that same night.
