The restaurant was closed. Last time we were there the restaurant/bar was great to have a dinner when you are tired of walking all day.Also only one employee was friendly the rest were actually rude.

Bed was not a Queen as the reservation represented; no chairs in the rooms; microwave in room or anywhere else; bathroom gets cold with the door closed as there are no heating vents in there; coffee shop on first floor is great and the staff helpful and friendly but the shop door opens directly on to the street (no vestibule) and we were there on the coldest weekend in recent history...whole downstairs lobby was subject to frequent bursts of cold air

The coffee shop downstairs was convenient, and the front desk was helpful. The room was quiet.

The room smelled like a dog and hadn't been cleaned properly. Had to request a shower gel refill, and the hotel was somewhat dingy. Housekeeping repeatedly took the drinking glasses without replacing them.

location is good; close to public transport and may things in walking distance.Nice seating area in the window niche (however, quite cold with NYC being very cold.

Heating ineffective. Not warm water at night. Bar, lounge and open fire place were advertised but closed "for renovation". At check-in we were presented with additional charges of $57.38 for two nights for 2 persons - a so called "destination fee" allegedly to be paid for use of wellness area (which we didn't) and lounge/bar facilities (which were closed resp. didn't exist).

The room was comfortable and had shampoo, conditioner and soap. There are robes, hairdryer and iron.

A nespresso machine and the ability to connect to Netflix, Apple TV, etc... would have been great. Some days the room was made up at then end of the day and the garbage hadn't be emptied.

Very clean room with everyday housekeeping. Great pillows and bed mattress! Amazing location and friendly/helpful staff.

The property is in a great location and although small is very clean and well decorated. Cafe is also great and staff were excellent

The room is small but that is to be expected in manhattan. Room is quite noisy (old building noise not people noise) but nothing earplugs don’t sort out.

Great quality for price and friendly staff. Great location in midtown (and for us, just two doors down from music venue for show we came to town to see).

Room was small, but otherwise comfortable and clean. We sat in comfy chairs in the cozy lobby, reading, while waiting for our show.

Amazing location and an extremely clean hotel with a cool New York vibe. We loved the boutique style and the room features - everything felt thoughtfully designed and lovely. The room was cleaned daily, which was a big plus, and having a bath was incredible after marathon step-count days exploring the city. The subway was just steps from the doorstep, making it so easy to get everywhere. Would absolutely stay again.

There was no city view from the room, but since we were out exploring all day, this wasn’t really a negative for us. The air conditioner/heater wasn’t working; however, the staff promptly provided a portable heater, which was more than sufficient for the room and kept us comfortable.

Very small rooms and the view was horrible. I asked to check in earlier and they sent me an email at 8:30 pm after I had check in about an extra charge.

The pictures of the place was like fake it didn’t match the booking the room was very small even the king size was small.

False claims and photos of facilities, no bar, no grand rooms to sit and enjoy dinner or drinks, corridors look like dirty subway tunnels!

It was pretty central and the bed was big

They didn’t clean the floors for the whole stay

location was amazing, 2 blocks from the empire state and subway on same road. massive bed and generally large room.

shower couldn’t get hot, left a note but nothing was done. very annoying after coming home everything day in snow conditions and just wanting to warm up. sink was hot though. the cafe attached was overpriced and underwhelming, pistachio croissant didn’t taste of pistachio at all and the coffee was mediocre.
