The Travel Inn

room was dirty! Outlet was broken. Room was NOT what I reserved. I was supposed to have a room with 2 beds and when I finally got my room it was a room with 1 full size bed! NOT big enough for a married couple. Certainly not for $--- for 1 night!

I've stayed here a few times now and I almost don't want to rave about it out of fear prices will sore. It's a pretty standard budget inn but it's impeccably clean, the staff is very friendly and super helpful. But the cherry is the pool for sure!

"Room Service" is from a diner down the street. If you press the RS button on the phone in the room, you are calling the diner to deliver. I was lucky I had cash on me. You can't charge it to the room and CC orders have to be specified while ordering.

The bed were a little stiff, but bedding was nice.

Pool is awesome. Self park right in hotel is awesome. Location second to none.

Hotel deli is frightening. New meaning to greasy spoon.

Hotel has inexpensive onsite parking. Sleeping areas in rooms are reasonably sized and, in general, rooms are spacious. In walking distance of many restaurants (the one next door is cheap and good), subways, and Times Square. Easy to drive to.

Beware extremely small bathroom areas. After our first experience, I've requested rooms with larger bathrooms, and while they are larger than in our first room, they can't be called spacious.

Called for shower repair, never resolved issue for adjusting hot/cold temperatures, spent more time trying to get the right temperature than actual shower time; beds were not comfortable (coil springs) / hard...

Centrally located in Midtown Manhattan. I arrived into JFK airport later than expected from Europe, and the desk staff were understanding and allowed me to check-in close to midnight.

I am a born and bred New Yorker who finally moved away at retirement. Back to see friends. Travel Inn was convenient to subway etc. Late night stores and bank in the neighbourhood were a big help. Thanks

Not cleaned well. Bed too hard. Noise from surrounding rooms. TV remote difficult to operate.

I like the location and the price adquired.

The person of the front desk is not friendly when received me.

It was close to where I needed to be.

When I checked in the room was not completely ready. Several times as I returned to the room it wasn't serviced yet.

Absolutely nothing!

1. Unhygienic , dirty rooms (sheets, bathroom , furniture etc) 2. Unruly staff ( late shift workers mainly) 3. Poor wifi even though I paid for it 4. Noisy air conditioning

Location (west 42nd street between 10th and 11th) is fantastic if you're driving to New York with your own vehicle. Quick to access via the Lincoln Tunnel, both getting into and out of the city were very easy and fast. Room was modern and clean.

Nothing really. Parking is $20 per day, great for midtown. Plus, access to your car 24/7, no valet parking. Very convenient if you want to stay in the city, walking to see the sites but also have things to do outside of Manhattan that you need to drive to

Good location for the purpose we where in NYC for. Room was clean and bed was comfortable.

Room was a little smaller than we expected, but the room was very clean and the bed was comfortable.

Helpful staff when checking in, arranging transport to the airport and temporarily storing our luggage.

Due to the lay out of the hotel there can be some noise from other guests coming and going to their rooms

It was better than I thought.You get exactly what you pay for.Safe the hotel is right across the street from a police station.Also it is only two blocks from the subway.

The WiFi is not included it costs 6 dollars a day.I was cut off around about midnight before I checked out.
