The Plaza, A Fairmont Hotel

The staff was excellent! Concierge was EXTREMELY helpful. Bellman was outstanding!!!

Refrigerator was too full to put anything in.

Room was great.

Surprise fees not explained. There are fees that are charged daily, that you receive a credit for food and room service. So I was charged, but missed out on using because it was not explained at check in. They should be up front and charge a flat price.

The location and overall quality of the hotel are excellent.

I did not get the room I thought I was paying for. The bathtub was broken (fixed after a handyman visit) and the TV did not work (was never fixed). I was surprised.

The staff was very nice and very accommodating and eager to please. The hotel is old but it feels like you stepped back into time, To its original glory I think that's what I liked best about.

Food service is very limited and service was not good in the primary bar area.

Love the luxuriousness of the hotel and the Location cant be beat.

We did have an issue with two deliveries from a friend (Champagne and a cake) that never made it to us. That was a bit disappointing for a 5 star hotel to mess up a service like that.

The staff was extremely inattentive. The doorman don¿t open doors. The bartenders are rude. The maids were incredibly nice however.

Everything! It was wonderful. We were greeted my a friendly, helpful doorman. The beautiful lobby was filled with the scent of lilies. We quickly checked in/out. The room was so luxurious with a view of the courtyard. We definitely will return.

No, but a note that turn down service is not automatic and needs to be requested.

Everything was fabulous. The room and bathroom were gorgeous, the bed was beyond comfortable, the staff was extremely helpful and there is no better location (on the upper east side). I can¿t wait to go back!

overall appearance of the Hotel is dated all the furniture from the benches outside the elevators to the table and chairs in the lobby bar are old and dirty. The palm dinning room was way over priced for the food and service was horrible

The Plaza lived up to its reputation as the pinnacle of luxury in NYC! I surprised my wife with a night there for her birthday, and the hotel gave us complimentary champagne and chocolate on arrival. It was the best hotel experience we've ever had!

Beautiful hotel and atmosphere

Need to be able to access ice or make a cup of coffee in the morning. Most hotels have a kierig or something similar.

Obviously, the allure of the hotel and what it brings to NYC is the attraction.

Wow, I have to say the price for what we received, especially with the lack of romance to an in-room dining experience being way overpriced plus fees/"extra" charges were out of control.
