Pros +
- The lighting in the room was wonderful ! I need good lighting as I am 78 years old and it couldn?t have been better. Also the room and bathroom were so clean. Just perfect.
- Nice clean room, soft bed.
- The location was great- less than a 5 min walk to Grand Central, my meeting locations, and a short walk everywhere else I needed to go. The room decorations were swanky and upscale. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.
Cons -
- The only complaint I have is that the amenities like hooks on wall and the shelf holding towels above the bath tub were too high for me as I am not quite 5 feet.
- Noise level from outside was out of control loud. I slept terribly. Not the hotel's fault that people were yelling and the trash pickup was at 2am, but for other visitors who are looking for quiet this is not a quiet room.
- The room was a little sticky feeling since the power (and air) turn off when the room card is removed. Easily remedied, but especially noticeable after returning to the room after an entire day out.

The staff was very friendly and the neighborhood was quiet. I was expecting construction and noise for staying in the city, and especially on the third floor. It wasn't a problem at all!
Everything seemed very small - tight hallways, small elevators, small chairs in the room. It's expected in NYC, but some people might find it uncomfortably narrow. Also, the position of the room numbers on the floor is confusing.
Location and Staff
Very limited amenities and shower was very small.
For the money I thought I would get more. I was fairly disappointed. You have to walk up stairs to the front with your bags. And nobody helps. Check in was a bit annoying; he did not explain a lot to us.
No room service even though there is a restaurant in the hotel. Stairs in front with no help. Parkings a pain. Typical small NYC room.
Lovely room, excellent experience once I got to my room -- clean, spacious, light.
No place to linger, no public areas to be in while waiting for your room. Ladies' room was broken on arrival, so only 1 restroom available downstairs.
The rooms were spacious
The staff was incompetent and did not charge my credit card properly.
very beautiful and convenient9
