LUMA Hotel - Times Square

This hotel is in a good quiet location near Bryant park and metro stops. The room is well designed and kept very clean. Hotel employee and the other hotel staff helpful and absolutely great. We’ll be staying there again!!

The restaurant did not live up to its high reputation.

The internet service didn?t work properly. I was unable to make calls or use my phone in the room. My toilet handle kept getting stuck.

Friendly, helpful and loved to chat. Never met staff like it. Small and comfortable and best location, central to all main attractions and subway.

No, other than if you book four nights plus via the hotel you get free breakfast every morning for all guests.

TV was a little hard to work at first. Not much room for suitcases - one had to be in the closet.

The location is quite good, convenient to access subways, and within walking distance to many attractions.

Tv did not work on our first night

The beds were comfortable, the room was tiny but it was not impossible to get around the furniture. The climate control was excellent and it was extremely quiet at night! Elevators worked great and we never had to wait which is a real plus in New York. Check in was quick and friendly. It is a reasonable price for being half a block from Bryant Park and all the transportation and restaurants you could want.

I wish we had "splurged" on a larger room. The desk chair and the bed frame had places that were worn and unraveled which made the room seem a little worn. The decor is kind of meh - it wouldn't be too hard to put something on the wall that reflects the city. Everything was a little too compact for our taste but it is just a room in the greatest city on earth!

The hotel was conveniently located near subway and time square.

The carpet in the room was sticky and felt dirty.

The location was amazing within walking distance of so many amazing landmarks and the staff were exceptional. The rooms were very comfortable

The LUMA is fabulous. Great location, great staff, insanely comfortable beds.

Location was fantastic, the staff at reception and main door staff were courteous.Our room was with view of drop ball so lovely to see view lights at night, loved that.Beds were comfortable-main bed / sofa bed for our son, albeit room was somewhat small with sofa bed pulled out, although I would expect most NYC hotel rooms are of similar size.We didn’t have breakfast, so cannot comment on that service, although would liked to have tried it as it looked quite a cosy ambiance.Liked the front bar for a drink, the bar tender from South Africa was a gentleman and wonderful service.

Staff, from the front desk, doormen, housekeeping, were all very polite, friendly and helpful.

Central location, fast lifts, clean modern room and bathroom and very comfortable beds. Friendly staff and easy to get to places from the hotel. Shops close by to get food also.

As a New York hotel room it’s quite small for 4 adults in one room but expect this for New York.

It is very well located and price quality is aligned

LOVE the location because it is right at Bryant Park and block from Times Square. We walk 15 minutes from the Amtrak station with our luggage to get to Luma and then everything is easily walkable from the hotel. It is a good value compared to many other nicer hotels on the area. Simple but still feels like quiet luxury.

Wish the dinner menu for the hotel restaurant had a few more options but that is not a complaint. The food was wonderful.

We loved the location and the room with two king sized beds was very comfortable. The day pass at the local gym was also a plus.
