Renaissance New York Midtown Hotel

Clean room, great city view, complementary beverages and meeting area. Location is across the street from the train station and Madison Square Garden. Near The Empire Stare Building and Times Square. Great for anyone travelling by rail.

Attentive and kind staff and great location .

Busy elevators and when they had to shut down for a little other than that no complaints .

Easy access to Penn Station. Hotel was immaculate, Check in staff was wonderful, friendly and professional. Front desk was great as well. Continental breakfast was best we ever had. Bed was comfortable.

The location is awesome with incredible views. Staff was attentive and very friendly. Hotel employee at the front desk was accommodating and went out of her way for us.

It was the right choice to stay at your hotel. The hotel is located in the city center, convenient for traveling to different places in New York. Everything was within walking distance, including major attractions like Times Square and Central Park.

1) There weren’t many choices for breakfast (especially for the children). We had to wait for our order for 20-25 minutes. That was unjustified taking into account that it was early and there were only 4 clients in the restaurant. We didn’t eat breakfast in the hotel again.2) The cleaning staff should be more careful since on the fourth day we found some stains in the newly changed bed sheets and a bathroom towel.

Clean and spacious room with good in-room facilities and a nice view. Very central location, making it easy to get around the city. Friendly and helpful staff throughout the stay.

Superb location, 2 minutes walking from Penn Station, which will take you pretty much everywhere you need in New York City (including JFK Airport, via LIRR). You can also easily walk (10-15m) to Times Square, Rockefeller Center, Bryant Park, etc. A better location in Midtown Manhattan can hardly be conceived.The room - a King Room with Skyline View on the 34th floor - was large, cozy and well-furnished. The view was spectacular and very much worth the extra cost.The Versa restaurant was also quite good, especially for breakfast.

No one bothered to explain the - at first confusing - elevator system on check-in.Some of the staff were quite nice and attentive; some were just doing the bare minimum. There is certainly room to improve on that front.

Convenient location once you get there. Very easy to drive out of though. Loved that it had parking.

I hated the bathroom door. Glass? Really?! Barn door and glass?! You can see and hear everyone on the toilet.

The experience at this hotel was amazing!

We had a problem with the small elevators cramming ppl into them and how slow the elevators were to get to the floor. It also was annoying having the to wait so long for the elevators

The location is great and hotel has with two separate entrances from different streets.The bathroom cosmetics were excellent quality and pleasantly surprising. The room was spacious, with a very comfortable bed.

On the 14th floor, the carpeted floors near the elevator were noticeably dirty throughout our stay.

Location is perfect to discover NY and right next to train station and important tourist places. Rooms are not the largest, but offer good quality amenities and we enjoyed a view over NY on a higher floor

Sound isolation of doors could be better, and you can hear neighbors sometimes, which is unfortunate for the price paid. Other than that nothing to complain about
