Le Meridien New York, Central Park

Staff was really good. Location is the best! Away from the mobs of midtown!

I had a low floor room.

The location was fantastic.

Our air conditioning broke and the hotel was oversold. They could not provide us a room with A.C. We were offered a fan.

wish there were grab bars in the shower/tub, marble floor bathroom so easy to slip on when wet.

The location is excellent.

When I checked into my room, there was an open can of soda and half-used bottles of shampoo from a previous guest. I was also confused by how the destination fee was applied and would prefer to see the destination fee simply removed.

I cant say enough good things about the hotel location & staff. his front desk staff turned my 3? experience into a 5?! Customer service is making your guests feel valued. Everyone was beyond accommodating. $40 daily credit is a bonus!

Pillows went flat easy, but housekeeping brought extras!

There was NO bathroom door (pocket door), we made 3 request for repair, finally sent a person up & said the wall had to be removed but did not change our room until The next day at our demand. Terrible service. This room should have been repaired first.

The location of the hotel is great.

Unfortunately, we had to change rooms 3 times before we received a cleaned room.

$-- for a hotel that should be $---. Price gauging and over enhanced photos, the rooms in this hotel felt like a 50 year old ship in the lower cabin.

Staff was very helpful.

Always having to call for towels and coffee. Trash accumulating. COVID cleaning protocols, if not mandated by law, seemed like an excuse to avoid cleaning and stocking rooms.

The people were very nice

It so did not seem like a 5 star hotel. Lobby was kind of dumpy, rooms were of course NYC small, but really weird decor that I guess was supposed to be vintage but in reality seemed depressing and inappropriate

No where near a 5 star hotel, service was awful, room was awful (AC broken, tv broken, phone broken)

The decor and location were great.

The bed sheets were incredibly scratchy. I had to put my yoga pants on to sleep. It was so uncomfortable that even though I otherwise really liked the hotel, I would not stay there again.

The hotel is well located, but the lobby was completely torn up and under construction. I wish that information were disclosed prior to booking. The room also had a terrible oder and when I made a comment to management, no reply was made.

I would not consider this Viceroy a five star hotel.

We had 3 rooms for a total of 14 nights. None of us will ever go back to the Viceroy in New York or anywhere else.

This is a 3*based on amenities:Unstable heat woke us every night. 6 hangers in 1 ft long closet, no fan in bath,tinted mirror on swivels that don't adjust. Poorly lit tiny rms. Gym: no shower, toilets shared by restaurant. TERRIBLE HOTEL.

The room was incredibly noisy as you could hear loud noises from the elevator shaft. This didn't seem to start until early in the morning. It was not a convenient time to ask maintenance to come address the issue

Bait and switch star rating. This is a 3 star hotel at best. Dirty old and dingy. Absolutely disgusting and you should be shamed for trying to pass this off as a 5 star. You lack integrity for that rating. Not even close.
