Jazz on Columbus Circle Hostel

Location near the theater district and subway nearby.

Street noise kept me awake. Music blaring from a near by business from 6:00 am to 2:00 am effected ability to get some sleep.

Good location

No paper towels in bathroom. No garbage can in room.

Bed was wonky, not enough lockers in bedroom, bathroom and sinks don't get cleaned: same hairs and stains for the 6 nights I was there. Not enough toiletpapier. I had emailed the hostel beforehand with a question and never got a response.

The location is the best part about this hostel! You are right in the middle of all touristy Manhattan activities.

The common area on the second floor was uncomfortable to be in because of the flickering lights, messy kitchen, and lack of places to sit (there were two small tables with one chair each).

Sheets were not so clean. Towels are extra.

Very close to Time Square. The room and shower are pretty clean.

I had to share room with someone and she came back at 3 AM.

Excellent location.

It was very noisy. It's on the 2nd floor on an extremely busy street, so lots of street noise well into the night. A bar with rock music below went on until 3am, then started again at 6am. It was audible even through my earplugs.

My 3-week stay was an amazing experience¿not just on-site amenities, but also the convenience of having everything close by. Hotel employee was, by far, the most helpful receptionist I ever met. She went above and beyond to make sure that I was happy and safe.

I like the location and easy to travel from transit nearby back and forth.

The pictures that I saw at first online wasn't the one then. It also needed a upgrade and update like bathroom, elevator and etc.

Its the most horrible hostel I have ever been. It is totally run down, dirty, everything damaged, they are not very helpful, I had to change rooms 3 times, and one was worse than the other. But the worst experience was with cleaning. it was disgusting.

The bed frame rack was broken,the room looks like a homeless shelter,i didn't sleep at all, they need to do something about the beds

Location, lockers, shower good.

Mattress and pillow were not confortable to me. In my room that had no water in the bathroom sink and no provision to fix. The filter of the kitchen you only have water if you have a bottle because there is no glass.

The front desk staff where FABULOUS. Friendly, informative, accommodating and helpful. Location was great.

Tv did not work and they were aware. Wish it had a refrigerator and an ice machine.

Brilliant location. Comfy beds. Bathroom per dorm which was good. Was very clean.

Some of the plug sockets didn’t work in the room. Only one light instead of light for each bed. Not well signposted. The checkin process was confusing - we went upstairs to have to come downstairs because we didn’t realise where the checkin was.

Localisation is the biggest plus of this hostel.

Mattresses are worn out and you sink in the middle. There were several issues with gender and the rooms as staff did not pay enough attention to the reservations. Also, staff is very jaded, not very friendly and looks like they don't really care about their guests.

They put me in the female dorm. Nice, clean& quiet.

Noisy outside because of Christmas break & everyone, like me had to see Rockefeller! Was nice though.
