    Pros +

    • Comfortable beds, quiet rooms, good daily housekeeping, thoughtful daily treats.
    • Nice lobby and friendly staff
    • Excellent front desk staff. Very knowledgeable of directions, subway use, restaurants, night life and sightseeing. Bell hops were also great and helpful! Beds were comfortable.

    Cons -

    • Rooms were small for the price. I know it?s the city, but I?ve stayed in larger rooms for this price. Daily housekeeping was weird. Some things for cleaned (coffee machine and cups) but nothing else. The rooms were LOUD in the evening.
    • Smallest rooms ever. No ice machine. Has tiny armoire and a tiny drawer. Ice was delivered in small bag in a bucket and they expected a tip every time (when they did show up, which wasn't every time). No vending machines. No pool, spa, relaxation areas.
    • Room had drapes but no sheers which would have been nice to let some light in without keeping them open to the building next door.

Great location ! Nice room,it was small but I didn¿t spend a lot of time in it.

Room had drapes but no sheers which would have been nice to let some light in without keeping them open to the building next door.

Room and bathroom were very clean.

Room size, shower had poor water pressure.

    5Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 4-26-2022

The room was so tiny and uncomfortable. The only place they had space for any suitcases was under the bed. I was very disappointed with the room and would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Very impressed with the service and decor! Bathroom looks high end and super clean! Hotel employee was super welcoming and helpful! Highly recommended if you are visiting NYC!

Staff here were above and beyond Location was perfect Rooms were clean and well designed Hotel doing a great job with Covid precautions

Rooms are very nice but very small (works great for 1-2 travelers)

    10Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 6-14-2020

It was quiet and safe. I felt cared for even through COVID-19.

The bed was not made well. bottom sheet not tucked in on one side. Towels kind of dry. AC adjusting was very loud.

    8Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 9-14-2019

The room was up to date and nice.

The room was small. There was construction on street that made the location not great.

    9Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 10-25-2017

the beds were so soft and the service was fabulous

    small rooms

    10Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 8-9-2017

Room was beautifully appointed, spotlessly clean and staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Loved the toys they gave to the kids at check in(card games and pick-up-sticks) and the special treats provided every evening were decadent and delicious.

    10Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 4-29-2017

It was lovely. A little jewel. It reminded me of a European hotel. The room wasn't big bit it was perfectly appointed and the bathroom was good sized. Everything was of the best in terms of sheets bathrobe etc. The staff came to clean your room early

    10Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 4-12-2017

The design of the room made me forget the room's small size. All staff interactions were pleasant and helpful. Rooftop and CP dining were a plus too! I hope to stay longer than 1 night next time.

    10Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 2-3-2017

The staff (especially front desk) were very accommodating and soooo helpful

The room was on the small side, but it was cozy.

    10Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 9-29-2016

Excellent hotel, immaculate comfy very quiet room. Very polite staff, cool atmosphere, fantastic roof top bar with the absolute best nighttime view of the empire state. Location is ideal for midtown.

    7Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 2-17-2016

Bed and sheets are very comfortable! Nice touches in room like water bottles and NESPRESSO, nice touches by housekeeping.

Room 409 was tiny even for NYC standards.

    10JoyPosted on: 1-14-2016

The comfy bed the the staff at check in.

The hostess at the restaurants that night. She was a little rude.

    8AlanPosted on: 12-29-2015

    location, staffing, newness

rooms are a quite snug to merit the 4-1/2 star rating

    10PaulPosted on: 10-28-2015

Within walking distance to many attractions

Rooms were a bit small and the roof top bar was over priced.
