The location was great!

There was a lot of noise during the day i.e. doors slamming/closing- unable to take afternoon naps it was so bad

Cleanliness and lively staff.

The heating unit was very loud and went on and off all night. The shower was not hot in the an.

Professional, smiling, welcoming staff.

Very spacious, elegant rooms, absolutely quiet, big bathroom with bathtub. The lobby is large and elegant, the small restaurant is charming, delicious breakfast. The location is perfect - walking distance to the theaters, Lincoln Center, restaurants.

No espresso machine in the room

We selected a room on an interior courtyard ABSOLUTELY quiet, which is unbelievable for NYC

Friendly accommodating staff.

When we made the reservation we were told we would be upgraded to a junior suite. But at check-in we were advised it would be another $65.00 a night plus taxes. The jr suite hadn't been cleaned so they switched us to a king. Only 1night was refunded.

Location and accessibility to the subway

We had made reservation for king bed two rooms, they were full, and they did not have room with king bed. They downgraded us to queen beds. The sinks in the bathroom was not working.

They have an abusive resident /resort fee. …$100/day for a free bottle of water!?

It was centrally located within walking distance to time square & Central Park, hotel staff were all very polite from door man to housekeeping and check in & out was flawless!

I was a little disappointed my initial room didn?t have a view, which was mislead online. However, I called front desk and they moved me to a room with a view the following day!

A classic New York hotel, very elegant with an old world feel especially with the traditional decor. It didn?t disappoint, a true New York City experience. Location is also amazing and friendly staff.

The room took a little while to get warm but this was the height of winter. Some of the furniture is a little worn but in a good way. It adds to the charm being in an older luxury hotel. The people who say it needs updating are missing the point.

Location perfect for my needs. Staff, helpful, professional, and courteous. Room was nicely decorated and a good size.

Although elegant to look at, the very deep tub was difficult to get in and out of. Anyone on the shorter side or with any mobility issues should be aware

Location to shows on Broadway and shopping. Upgrade gave us a large suite for only an extra $50.

No coffee in room..not even a Keurig. Coffee was $6 in the bar/lounge. They give you $10 credit per room per day, but it doesn't cover even two cups of coffee with service fee and taxes.$13 for two cups of regular coffee is sad?

What isn't there to like? Love is more like it! I have been staying at this hotel since 2014. The staff never disappoints and always treats me as if I am the only one. The room is always beautiful. It is the one constant in my life that never changes!

The location was great and bag storage was nice after check out.

The resort fee and additional charges was a little excessive. In addition, I was questioned by multiple staff to see my key as if I did not belong there in the first place. I am not sure if I will be making future reservations in this hotel.
