    Pros +

    • Hotel had a really awesome location with parking in the area, and was all around a great hotel, other than our heat problem and the fact that we got charged a facility fee when we were not told anything about it prior to check in
    • There is no air conditioning in the winter time room was 88 degrees and there was nothing they could do because it was warm outside that day 450.00 later
    • Great location and friendly staff.

    Cons -

    • It was 74 degrees in the room the whole night, even after a fan was put on and the window being wide open the whole night, leaving us sweating and not able to sleep a wink in the suffocating heat.
    • The elevators are old and small and slow.
    • was charged a resort fee for services like wi-fi and coffee. i did not agree to this fee when reserving the room. Horrible!

The Roger hotel is conveniently located near restaurants, bars, a museum, Madison Square Park, and so much more. Very clean! Friendly and polite staff!

Spacious rooms, mini-bar, and strong wifi signal

Small but clean bathrooms, staff seemed a little clueless at check-in, overcharged me

Wine tasting and general lobby area was nice with two floors of area to relax in.

    Construction view was pretty ugly.

The staff and service is quite exceptional. The staff is attentive, polite and helpful.

The rooms are quite small and there are only two small elevators, which can make going to and from your room slow

Great location, clean room, nice comfortable bed.

The mini-bar was blocking the entrance to the room so as soon as I opened the door it was right in front of me and I had to walk around it. Also, the shower had glass covering the first part of the basin, but not a door so water splashed on the floor

    Location. Quiet. Staff.

    Slow elevators.

    It was a perfect location.

The only issue I had with this room was a lack of soundproofing. We were stuck next to a couple who never left their room if you could understand what I mean. We were woken up all hours of the night by them and it was quite frustrating.

It felt like home away from home. I loved my entire experience at The Roger. Especially loved the lobby and bar area. Felt like I was in my own living room. Staff superceded my expectations. Exceptional service. Slept well too! Super comfy bed. Thanks

The staff were great and even though we had some problems they treated them quickly and to our convenience

The two double bed room- bed are too small and you always get hurt by the corners because there's not enough room. the king bed bedroom was amazing and very spacious

    Good hotel. Staff was friendly.

parking was expensive. The room needs better lighting.

Great location. The staff and decor of the hotel is great. The wine hour is a nice touch. Overall, this is a perfect hotel to stay in NY if you are looking for a great location to explore the city while staying in comfortable accommodations.

My only concern was the noise from other rooms. I felt like I could hear people in other rooms and the noise of every door closing. The AC fan offset this but still that's not excuse.
