    Pros +

    • Bigger room for New York, good location, friendly staff
    • My 8th visit to New York. By far this was the nicest, roomiest affordable hotel room I've ever had. The kitchenette was a very nice option for making a late night snack. Just a few blocks from Broadway theaters and Rockefeller Center. My new favorite!
    • Convenient location for my purposes. Friendly competent staff. Loved the self service aspect. Si nobody bothered us. Anything we needed we got ourselves from the front desk.

    Cons -

    • Building construction across the street was noisy during the day.
    • Unattractive view from the suite.
    • Elevator was a little slow, but now I'm just being trivial. So no, nothing that stood out as negative.

Hot cocoa and coffee available in the afternoon and great breakfast and giant rooms!

I very much enjoyed both the king bed with sofabed suite and the king bed with sofabed studio. They were attractive, clean and nicely decorated. I enjoyed the hot buffet breakfast, but wish they would have had breakfast potatoes-I'm a vegetarian.

    Unattractive view from the suite.

This hotel was great overall. The hotel was conveniently close to Grand Central, Rockefeller Center, and Times Square.

Breakfast was ok.The view was not that great from the 6th floor. Most of the drying machines were out of order. Computers were obsolete and very slow.

    Location

TV did not work, cable would cut in and out Shower did not drain well Found 2 cockroaches in the room!

    8Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 5-28-2015

We liked that the bed was large and very comfortable, it had a great kitchen with all of the amenities. Breakfast bar was great!

We could hear the people in the bathroom next to us talking through the bathroom wall. The room lacked a lighted magnifying makeup mirror.

    8Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 4-14-2015

Liked that there was a fridge and oven in the room. Room was clean and bathroom was very large. Free breakfast was great for a hotel in New York.

When we arrived we were told that we can only have the room that we booked which was a king size bed. We needed 2 double beds. They said that all the rooms were booked but if one came available on the Saturday it would cost an extra $50 which is outrageou

The room was nice. The bed was comfortable.

No hotel security at night. Partiers all on the blocks nearby.

Excellent location. Easy access to public transportation. Very friendly environment including nice staff. The breakfast buffet is very good. Free fast speed internet as well. Will return back definitely next time!

    Room was beautiful and clean.

A little slow getting checked bags, but nothing terrible

    10LindaPosted on: 3-12-2015

This was our first trip to New York. We couldn't have picked a better hotel! It was convenient to all the places we wanted to go. Most places we could walk to and the others were a short cab ride away. We will be staying here every time we're in the city

I can't think of anything we did not like.

    9StephenPosted on: 3-2-2015

I enjoyed the free breakfast and size of the room. The location of the hotel is walking distance to most Manhattan sights.

    3Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 1-26-2015

Location is great. Room size is commendable for NYC hotel.

Extremely loud street noise. The garbage collection began at 11 pm and lasted the better part of an hour, with loud machinery that made it impossible to sleep even on the 9th floor.

The staff were very polite and super helpful & the overall experience was wonderful!
