Nice decor and ambiance, most staff incredibly friendly, great location, good for the price.

I liked the lobby and hotel rooftop bar

The room is old and in desperate need of revamping. The bathtub dripped the whole time maintenance never checked. We needed new keys everyday

Location, historic building

No heat in first room. Windows did not close and lock completely. Moved to second room and heat/air unit broke again. Second had no safety lock, chain any any added security.

The staff and the decor were beautiful.

Guest room had strong mold smell

I did not like the Waterbug in the shower. I also didn't appreciate no heat until complaining. Then it went back off. The room carpet was ripped, and the mattress was cheap. Also, the toilet was clogged maintenance had to come up.

no breakfast option, no coffee in room, shotty bathroom fixtures, stairwell from 5th floor to lobby was confusing without any prompts as to where the lobby was. Even pressing lobby elevator prompt, couldn't find any way out without getting help

Location can’t be beat. Baggage check was extremely useful

Hallway lighting was extremely dim. My room was at the end of a hall, where there was no light. Couldn’t see to open door without flashlight. Front desk brushed off my safety concerns (solo female traveler)

Great location. It's across the street from Lincoln Center with Target a block away if you need anything. 66th St subway entrance is across the street.

The hotel needs maintenance. Our Roman blind mechanical parts to open/close the blind were completely missing. Basically the blind stays closed at all time during our stay. The hall and the room are dark wallpaper and colors which doesn't helP.

Staff was friendly and accommodating. Lobby was very Posh. Rooms were perfect. Great location walking distance to the park, museums, great food and subway station. Rooftop pool with an amazing view. Id definitely stay here again

The room was old and outdated, very dark. The hallway was also very dark, made me feel uncomfortable. The bar area was nice as was the rooftop dining area. The pool was ridiculously small w/about 10 loungers and nothing else

Location was excellent and the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming.

The hotel was old and outdated and needed many minor repairs (cracked and chipped bathroom furniture, leaky faucet, carpet tearing in the corners and dusty.

The rooftop and view is nice

The hotel is not clean. It’s dated and the a/c barely functions. There are limited to no amenities at this hotel. An overhaul is much needed.

Desk staff is excellent. Doormen are very kind. Hotel location is terrific.

Not having coffee or tea in the lobby or the room. No shower cap. Room needs upkeep. Peeling paint on ceiling and doors. Not able to adjust air. TV signal didn?t work. Lock on room door doesn?t feel safe.

The location is great, and it was entertaining to visit the rooftop bar under the iconic Empire Hotel sign. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The room was as to be expected for a NYC hotel and was comfortable, but the furnishings were a bit worn. Note that the windows of some rooms face onto airshafts, so unless you close the blackout shades other rooms can see into yours.

This hotel has a great location, there are a lot of subway entrances nearby and the red line train goes to many stops. Very safe and well lit area, and lots of restaurants around.

We could not get the shower to work and had cold showers a few days. Generally just old, paint peeling and carpet coming up in areas. This could happen anywhere, but roach in the bathroom one night. Room was smaller than expected for the superior king.

Great location adjacent to Lincoln Center. The staff is very pleasant and extremely helpful.
