    Pros +

    • We received a free upgrade and the location was terrific
    • Friendly and helpful staff.
    • The location is great, good restaurants and theaters nearby, several city attractions are at a waking distance. The room is nice and cozy, even if it was not very big.

    Cons -

    • Street noise
    • The staff is not that friendly and they were not very open to communicate or to listen our requests, as they try to quick-solve everything, instead of offering a real valuable solution. The breakfast is even worse than 2 years ago, when we stayed there the first time. They offer only 2 types of sandwiches, but the portions are very small. The rest is just small portions of fruit, coffee, juice and 2 types of bread. And the area where they currently offer breakfast is the bar, so not a lot of seats available.
    • Only 1 chair in a king room with 2 people!

Breakfast, happy hour- great conversations, staff friendly and helpful

Only 1 chair in a king room with 2 people!

Love the art deco style, new interior, clean, fantastic location, walking distance from the theatres on Broadway, Central Park, fifth avenue. Staff very friendly and nice. We asked for early check in and we’d got it.

    10DawnPosted on: 2-12-2026

The staff was excellent and Amadu in the lounge made wonderful drinks. The breakfast was excellent. And when they couldn't accommodate our double occpancy suite...we we provided 2 romms at no extra cost

That we were going to book for 7/18-7/20 but the prices to stay were quadruble in price. That is not right when a world event increases the price of a room.

The location is of course a sapper

Expectations were 5 stars, but they're far from 5. The reviews didn't match reality. Breakfast was hardly breakfast. Except location, it's a good 3-star.

concierge was very kindbreakfast was good (would have loved more GF options)bed was nice.Prompt service when toilet wouldn't flushreally grateful when linens don't smell like detergent

no complaints. It was a good stay!

The staff was incredible! The room was clean and comfortable, I always worry about the beds in hotels because they can be lacking, but I slept so well while we were there. Also, I could have lived in that amazing robe.

    Very helpful staff. Good location.

The bathroom water temperature was extremely high to the point of steam coming out of the hot water tap and burning my hand. The refrigerator is stocked full of mini-bar items and your penalized monetarily if you put anything in the refrigerator.

Location cleanliness great staff quiet room

Cost is just a little higher than others with similar scores

    9MattPosted on: 1-22-2026

Excellent Midtown location, most Broadway theaters are a 10 minute walk or less. More of an intimate boutique hotel so you don't feel all the crowdedness and noise of the larger hotels. All layers of staff were helpful and available, 24/7. Nice little speakeasy-type bar which also serves their limited breakfast.

Only reason I didn't give a perfect score was the lobby bar restaurant are under renovation. And because the coffee served at breakfast is pathetically thin.

    9BrunoPosted on: 1-21-2026

Breakfast and the location was great. Only problem was my late stay request was granted by only half an hour. That is the shortest extended stay I’ve experienced at any hotel worldwide. I needed an hour and a half.

You could’ve extended my noon check out to 130 or 2 PM instead of 1230

the room was comfortable. the bathroom was great. The staff at the breakfast were very welcoming and the breakfast tasted great.

Great position in the city. Perfect for visiting

The breakfast is very very poor and the rooms are small with a bed air management.

    9MariaPosted on: 1-6-2026

The room was perfect! The lobby personal as well! The location is also great and make our journey easier!

The breakfast room was too crowded. We wanted to sit one morning but the waiter told us we have to wait as a family would sit there. We left anyways and said nothing. I think everyone should take his breakfast in the room instead of waiting for a table.

Stayed here for 2 nights Jan 2026, had 2 rooms for family. Beds are very comfortable. Smaller, luxury, boutique type of hotel. Small renovation in lobby so vibe & quality getting better but already great. Breakfast had quality fresh fruit, chocolate pastries, great coffee, juices, sandwiches, very yummy.

The speakeasy/bar was not busy at night so we bounced. Highly recommend Jimmy's across street for $3 beers and piano bar Don't Tell Mama for entertainment.

Great location. Nice to have a breakfast option.

The room and bathroom were pretty small with not many places to hang towels.
