Location staff customer service. The bed(pillows and sheets) was exceptional and cleanliness was optimum.

Loved the front desk people, so helpful and fun.

There needs to be a bar. There really isn't one in the neighborhood and we walked all around on a Saturday night, trying to find a place for a good night cocktail.

This is a small, well-located hotel in the Upper East Side. Our room was very comfy, heated by a "split" which we could adjust to our liking. There is a small lobby and no big scene when you check in; this was very much to our liking.

Location was excellent. Close to my son¿s apartment and subway. Great eating places.

Wish the hotel rates were not so high.

Very cute hotel in a great location. Close to the park and MTA. The hotel staff was very friendly. Our family had a great stay - and we would stay here again!

The staff was friendly and accommodating, the hotel itself was quaint and charming with a historic flair and modern courtesy. I cannot praise the staff highly enough, everyone was absolutely incredible while we were there.

The only downside to consider is that the rooms are small. We fully expected this and it didn¿t cause us any trouble. The room was exactly what we needed but it could cause issues for travelers who need wider spaces.

It was close to where I needed to go

Extremely small and has no accessible plugs next to the bed. The room did not have any coffee machine or microwave or a fridge! The tv barely worked. Breakfast was bare minimum. Will not stay there again, rather to be father away!

Entry vestibule was filthy, there was no hot water for the morning shower, I left an expensive phone charger in the room and they claimed they could not find it, the hotel was rated three or 3 1/2 stars and should have been two stars at best.

It's location is great. Close to the MET and central park as well as metro.

I booked 2 rooms for 2 nights. In 1 room, there was a crack on the window on a cold night. Staff refused to change the room,Instead brought an old noisy fan not letting us sleep. Heater in 2nd room blew cold air from 12 to 7am. would not stay there again

Small Queen Room #46 was cozy, had an incredibly comfortable bed, an updated bathroom, nice toiletries, lovely front desk and housekeeping staff, 24/7 coffee/tea in the lobby, continental breakfast, and complimentary wine and cheese in the evening.

Wifi did not work in the room, but I had read reviews that mentioned to poor signal and was prepared for that. The wifi did work in the lobby/sitting area. The only other minor issue was that the pillows were pancake thin. I requested an extra one.

Great location for that area. I had room 51 with a view of the St. Small but cute bathroom and very clean. Big bed nice white sheets. Elivator was retro and fun.

Hotel has a work site next door that detracts from the hotel. The public areas needs a tidy up. Staff pleasant but not professional. Front desk was messy. Entrance needed a sweep. Perhaps a nice vase of flowers might help.Breakfast is basic in small room.

The staff at the hotel was very helpful and nice. The front desk staff was friendly and informative. One morning upon departure for my meeting, the clerk stopped me to suggest a jacket and offered an umbrella due to predicted showers!

The location is nice but not really close to many sights - quiet and close to Central Park, so good for quiet visit but would not recommend for someone touring NYC and wanting to see sights.

Small and cozy, but nice and pretty clean. Good value for the price. Staff was helpful.

Found some trash left by a previous guest behind the desk when I was looking for an outlet. Otherwise seemed fair in cleanliness dept. staff was helpful, but when I was leaving, seemed a bit pushy about ordering a particular car service.
