Bell staff and MO Lounge wait staff , rooms are large and the feel is decadent

Quality and location

I met some resistance getting a late check out even though it was in my hotel profile record, which I was finally able to achieve. Please note on the question: "How would you like us to identify you. Please update as I am from Malibu, California.

The friendly, professional staff, the hotel's central location, the room and the amenities (restaurant, gym facilities, business office, concierge service)

The price (then again, you get what you pay for).

The location was the best, and so was the staff. The service at the oriental is exceptional.

Guests have to take two different elevators to reach their room. The first one takes you to the lobby on floor # 35. The second elevator, located in another part of the building, will take you from the lobby to the room. This can take a while if there are many guests using the elevators.

Don’t go there

I arrived at 3:30 PM for check-in, and they told me I had to wait 4 hours because all the rooms were sold out. This is the first time this has ever happened to me.The staff were very unfriendly, as if you were going to a free place, and the manager was also terrible.This was my first and last time at this hotel, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

It is a beautiful hotel and an excellent location. We walked everywhere and took the subway when needed. Many restaurants and Nordstroms plus a mall all right at the hotel. It was safe, beautiful, and the room large and comfy. No complaints, and the views were incredible over Central Park.

Nothing - wish it was now quite so expensive.

The location is the best. And the staff are very good.

The pool was closed and no one told us only when we asked . The rooms need an update it’s old. And no coffee machine in the room.

The staff, in general, were very welcoming and helpful, with a special mention to Miles Gomez. He stood out for his exceptional hospitality and assistance. As someone who travels frequently, I can confidently say that Miles is one of the best front desk staff I have ever encountered.

Room was a bit old needs to be renovated Though the room was not clean! Sheet were stained, bathroom and loo were not clean No coffee machine Our luggage were sent to a different room and took them 2 hours to bring them to our room. Staff was very nice and helpful they tried to help us and make it up for the inconveniences

Given the price tag room felt a bit dated and small. Sadly room service made mistakes and the door men are not well informed/misinformed rg parking.

Swimming pool surrounds not as luxurious as they should be at this price. Sauna too cool. Carpet in bedroom tired. No real lounge fir residents ( only coffee bar/restaurant- always crowded)

Asked for a high room as we were on our baby moon, got the top floor with best view the hotel has to offer. Concierge was very helpful with babysitting. Everything was great.

Had a weird interaction with one of the women at reception where she wouldn't let my wife up to our room as she didn't have her ID... Who takes their ID to breakfast? And why not just call me in the room to verify that my wife is... My wife... Guess that things about being black in America is a real thing.

Excellent staff. Great service. Very courteous. Food is good. Spa is wonderful.

Location was wonderful, staff was amazing and extremely pleasant. The room looked a little dated though. You couldn’t ask for a better location, right on Columbus Circle. I would return.

The only suggestion is, for what you’re paying for the room, it would have been well worth it if the furniture and decor would be updated.

Will never recommend and poor value for money.

It was a very ordinary compared to my last experiences of staying mandarin especially Hong Kong. Only one restaurant cum bar. Staff behaviours was deceht but noting compared to other hotels or other mandarin.

Great location and love that they could install a bidet in the WC

The location is good and the facilities are modern and comfortable. In general the staff is nice and efficient.

The restaurant could be better, namely the time you wait to order and to sign the check.
