Aloft by Marriott Manhattan Downtown - Financial District

Comfortable bed, clean, nice decor.

No fridge unless you ask.

The hotel is attractively and modernly furnished, even stylishly. The rooms are exceptionally large/spacious for New York standards. Its location in the old city of Downtown is good for excursions to South Manhattan or Brooklyn.

!My wife's purse was stolen out of her backpack in our room! The staff rating is the average of some very friendly and courteous employees and some truly rude and cheeky colleagues who should be fired immediately. Both elevators need renovations.

The staff was so friendly and helpful. I felt like I staying at someone's home bc the hospitality was so wonderful. Particularly the manager was on his A game!

The room was small, but its New York so all living spaces are small. The room was comfortable though.

How spacious the rooms were

The heat wasn?t working and with babies in our room it wouldn?t go above 61 and it was freezing. The baby crib that they gave us was broken and we couldn?t use it. It took them forever to come once called about something.

The tv did not work entire stay, they sent tech after me having to call front desk 3-4x tech finally came very nice but the problem was not resolved. I had to use my iPad entire stay.

Didn't like much , bathroom door wouldn't close, hotel smelled like pot.Only free items for customers was water and coffee.Staff even though friendly almost came across it is what it is attitude definitely not worth the price per night

The location of this hotel amazing . Hotel staff was very helpful and knowledgeable.

I didn¿t like that room didn¿t include microwave and mini fridge. This was needed for left overs .

Friendly staff and close to the subway. They make it easy to travel with a dog.

The location

The room was disgusting. Stains all over the bed, brown sticky stuff on the bathroom walls. We wanted to check in a couple of hours early and their policy is $20 dollars per hour each hour you check in early. The ¿complimentary¿ coffee in the lobby was $3

there were bugs in our first room. we were moved to a new room which was on a floor that reeked of weed. i have a kid with asthma and a smoke filled floor does nothing good for her lungs. additionally, there were people yelling and screaming

Great location

Mask wearing was virtually nonexistent in the lobby. Reservation said the room would have a refrigerator; it did not. The sink in the room was loose and moved around when using it. The furnace in the room constantly cycled on and off all night.

The staff was exceptional! From the front desk to maintenance! They were happy to answer any questions and offer a variety of solutions if I had a concerns.I was very pleased with my stay at Aloft!

I have stayed here before. The rooms are always clean (and cigarette smoke free), and the staff is very friendly.

It was very modern and the staff was pleasant

The elevator was not working almost the whole weekend so we had to climb the stairs. We were on the 13th floor.

Extremely convenient location near multiple subway lines made getting around easy, and there are a number of shops and restaurants located in the immediate vicinity as well. The hotel itself was quiet and everything was very well-maintained.

All the pillows were very soft feather pillows, and even doubling them up, was a bit uncomfortable. Really wish hotels would make sure to offer a mix of soft and firm pillows. Also, there is only body wash in the shower, had to use the soap from the sink.
