Four Seasons Hotel New York Downtown

It’s extremely clean, modern, and perfectly located in downtown. It provides a lot of peace and quiet compared with the 5th avenue and Central Park areas. The staff are incredible. The nicest people from the front desk to the housekeeping staff and the guys at the front door and room service. Genuinely nice and caring and good people. They aren’t even pretending or putting on a professional face. The gym is great. The rooms are spacious and cosy. Basically everything is great.

The location was really good. The staff were helpful and friendly. The rooms are of good size and very comfortable. The has an electronic tablet in the room so you can chat with the staff and place your requests and in-room dinning orders through that. Overall, a good experience.

The only issue we faced was that the house keeping staff did not fill out some of the amenities in the room, so we had to call and request for them a couple of times.

For an expensive hotel, the design was of an ordinary standard. No upper level bar or restaurant.

As always Four Seasons is a good idea! Everything was great. So clean and tidy room, amazing bar and food. Friendly and helpful staff. Can recommend!

Excellent room, very clean, spacious, outstanding room service, very friendly staff

No concierge and therefore very little help provided by front desk despite their friendliness.Good breakfast but very slow service and a bit expensive even for a 5 stars.

Location was great

No valet parkingUsually takes the reception 2 minutes to answer the phoneA group of people gathered at my door talking loudly for 20 minutes, and the room had little sound insulation so I could not sleep at 11pm. Called the reception and the person answering the call was very impatient and rude. Received no apologies. This was a very upsetting experience

The staff --  at checkin is amazing! He took his time and gave us great recommendations the entire time! Great location, Room very clean.

Only negative at all is that you cannot take your drink from the bar to your hotel room. They told us it was because the bar was owned by someone separate from the hotel. Only downer.
