Hotel Giraffe by Library Hotel Collection

Evening cheese and wine, with a piano player, was a nice way to start the evening. We enjoyed breakfast and liked the fact that it was included in the price. The coffee was excellent. Most of all the staff was welcoming, friendly and helpful!

New, contemporary and spacious by NYC standards.

We love the location, the staff, the hotel, the breakfast and the lovely cheese and wine service in the evening. We have stayed at Hotel Giraffe many times and will definitely return.

The property was in a superb location. It felt safe at every time of day/night and it is super near to KTown and even Time Square. I walked everywhere when we stayed here and it was the perfect central location to everywhere. The property itself was clean and the room was phenomenal. We even had a balcony which was a welcome surprise! All the staff were super kind, but there was a gentleman that I saw regularly that was always so nice and we would regularly chat. It was like seeing an old friend and he single-handedly made my time here feel comfortable and welcoming. I believe his name was Chris or Christian (he had glasses and a mustache and would work the night shift a lot, he has a pet cat that we talked about). Overall, I'd definitely stay again. The staff were accommodating, the room was comfortable and spacious, and I loved that they had a beverage/snack station in the lobby 24/7. Very nice touch!

I didn't have anything that came up during my time here that I didn't like. The staff was great, accommodating and very polite.

The rooms were dated. Uncomfortable beds… pillows and sheets.

Comfort, amenities, bath products. Staff went out of their way to make sure we had a refrigerator in the room and to have down-free bedding. Loved the location near our friends' place in Gramercy Park. Glad to have valet parking. Next visit we will likely take the train from DC. A very congenial and welcoming hotel. And I loved being able to have tea in the afternoon or once we returned in the evening.

Enjoyed the availability of snacks and the comolimentary breakfast, but you need better cereals including ones that don't have so much sugar. How about Cheerios, or Wheaties, or similar. The cereals were loaded with sugar as were the snack bars - all sugar and no protein. I would recommend upgrading the selection and having more "original" oatmeals instead of packets with lots of sugar. Also, in a hotel of your quality, I would use Harney teas or similar.One other quibble: I didn't bring lotion as I was sure you would have it , but there wasn't any in the bathroom.

The hotel lobby was comfortable,the elevators came quickly, and the room was perfect.

I couldn’t find a switch in the bathroom for a fan, so had to open the door to let the steam out. And the breakfast was nice but would’ve been improved with a couple hot options: e.g.,eggs, bacon.

The property is conveniently located with spacious rooms and attentive staff. Breakfast is included and there is rooftop space.

The staff was welcoming upon our arrival. The room was spacious for New York City, clean, comfortable and quiet. We had an excellent dinner next door at Audace. The checkout time is generous. The breakfast was limited but what they had was good. I had a bagel, hard boiled egg, yogurt and banana. Easy walk from the train station if you don’t have much luggage.

This was our first visit to the Hotel Giraffe, and it absolutely exceeded our expectations. We loved the location, the size of the room and the lobby facilities. What particularly made our stay wonderful was how exceptional every member of your team is - from Housekeeping to Front Desk, nothing was too difficult and it made the stay perfect. We would be grateful if you could extend our thanks to the management team. We will certainly be back!

We would have preferred a walk in shower, because of a mobility issue, but did manage OK

I liked just about everything about it. The room, the lighting, the decor, the freakin balcony and the people. I would most definitely stay here again, infact I plan to.

It was an upscale oasis in lower Manhattan

Location….it wasn’t close to anything

The attentiveness of the staff, cleanliness and snacks was nice. Also having access to the rooftop for smokers was nice.

I loved everything about it except it was so hot and I did not have access to the temp of the heater. I tried to change it in it in my room with temp gauge but nothing happened.

Conveniently located. Great lobby set up for sitting with family/reading/eating/waiting. Included breakfast and snacks were a nice touch.

Small change for improvement could be to add more toiletries in the bathroom. Selection was more limited than most other similar hotels at this price point.

Staff was nice. Free Breakfast was great. Room was spacious. Highly recommend if they aren’t doing construction across the street.

They are building a new building or renovating across the street so they work all hours of the night. And it’s soooo loud. Beeping and noises and hammering and clashing. It’s not that hotels fault but beware!!!! And they don’t really have any giraffes. :( I have more giraffes in my house than they don

Staff was super friendly and helpful! Our room had great counter space in the room and in the bathroom!! Plenty of room for our 6 suitcases and 3 bags and all toiletries for 3 people.

The street noise was very loud on the 10th floor
