    Pros +

    • position, cleanliness, price
    • Great space and amentities, with top location!
    • Cozy roomClose/Accessible from/to trainCool concept Cheap for the area Very nice & accommodating staff - Speaking/Laughing with them was the best part!

    Cons -

    • rooms are definitely smaller than they look
    • Wifi wasn't the best, they give you earplugs and a mask but it's still not very dark and a little noisy.
    • I stayed for a week, after returning from living abroad and 1 week was TOO LONG!Room super small - not enough room to open my suitcase - I had a medium size and small one, but I had to be VERY STRATEGIC!If your room is on the 1st floor, you literally have to brush teeth/wash face in the hallway for everyone to see (open concept/modern sink and there's only 1 on 1st floor) - sometimes, I either had to wait for someone to be done or make the choice to go downstairs.NO space in "lounge" - seats very limited amount of guests, on 1 side of spaceIf in the lounge - NO PRIVACY for calls, zooms, nothing and the sucky part is that you aren't allowed to speak in rooms, BUT the sound travels so much that I could hear everything in the other rooms bc there's no closed ceilingNO space to chill and meet and vibe with other guests, only at the entranceNO microwave, which FORCES you to eat out in a high priced areaNO complimentary coffee, as other spaces have, like hostels and hotelsNO napkins/paper towels in the "lounge" only very cheap wooden sticks that break once placed in hot waterONLY complimentary cups and sugar packets provided and a vending machine with CONCEPT items, that can be purchased literally at Wholefoods, down the street NO eating in rooms when there's literally no other spaces to eat, unless you go out IF the "lounge" is full (3/4 guests)

The check in process was smooth and the extra spa items in the room were cute. I love the convenience of the experience and the aesthetic, the location also was prime for my needs

I heard other people more than I would like to but I understand that is the nature of how the rooms are set up and this it is sort of a hostel so that is just how it goes.

    Very poor

No hot water for two showers I took. I ran the water for 10 minutes and it just colder and colder.

    10TraceyPosted on: 2-12-2026

No breakfast offered. A decent hot shower and quality bedding, good bed. The robe & towel. Ideal for my needs & great location, easy walking, train. Excellent service. Im sorry as a New Zealander I was overwhelmed 1st day, 1st time in NY about tax or tipping expectations. I appreciated the help and service.

Room felt too warm at night to sleep. A neighbour making calls. But ok.

The accommodation was exactly what I needed. I was a solo traveller who stayed two nights and for the price in New York you can’t go wrong. It’s a small cabin but with everything you needed and the bathrooms were clean and exactly what I needed - I never found myself waiting. Staff were so friendly and always helped me when I needed. Really recommend especially for solo travellers and they have two only women floors too.

No lift so if you have a suitcase just take into account you will need to carry it up but it’s only three stories and staff are happy to help.

    10KyraPosted on: 1-21-2026

Loved the price and the bed was so comfortable.

The heat was a bit high making it uncomfortable. If you are a cold sleeper bring a fan

    8ChristinaPosted on: 1-19-2026

The snug room is plenty of space if you are staying for a weekend. The bed for me was very comfortable and I brought a large checked-in bag which fit perfectly under the bed. I hung my clothes through the rail above the bed so for me it worked well. The staff, checkin and facilities were perfect. Plenty of showers etc and I stayed on a half women floor but there were plenty of showers. I also liked the small lounge down stairs as there is a little convenience store next door which makes fresh sandwiches etc if you want to have something nearby. The thoughtful supplies like the dyson hairdryer, toothbrushes etc are a nice touch. Also for this budget and location you get great value.

So the main carpet of the floor wasnt well hoovered and I can see this might be hard with noise management etc. I slept well for the 3 nights but you can hear people snoring or making noise. The doors are noisy but I stopped hearing it to be honest. It was quite warm on the floor but the duvet is alittle lighter so it was fine really. I stayed in January with snow so I imagine summer might be abit warm. It would be good to have more power points. For those using adaptors you can only fit one plug in at a time so hard to power up everything

I did not have time for breakfast but the service was great. The room was very clean. The showers and toilet were clean and locked and secure. O

    Nothing, everything was good.

    7ElisabethPosted on: 1-19-2026

Clean, good location, comfortable bed, free wifi, self check-in, nice interior design.

Very cramped. I knew the room would be tiny but the hallways are extremely narrow and it's awkward trying to get passed other guests. Had to step over other guests luggage to get to the bathroom. The halls are also way too dark at night, even though it's probably to keep light from filtering into the rooms, the light from other rooms makes it so your room is never completely dark anyway. There's also a lot of noise late at night and early in the morning. You can hear everything going on in the adjacent rooms, like frequent rustling, zippers from suitcases, doors slamming shut, ect. I didn't need my alarm because I'd be woken every morning by constant and often very loud noises.

    8JenniferPosted on: 1-15-2026

really comfy bed and excellent location

be prepared for just how tiny it is! Also you need to rent a locker for a fee - they don't hold your bags for a few hours if needed.

    8IsabellaPosted on: 1-15-2026

It is very efficient to have a tiny room when one just needs to sleep. The overall amenities are totally enough for what one needs in this kind of context.

The overall quality of the hotel was good. However I see some room for improvement. The carpet in the room was quite smelly and the carpets in the corridors were a bit dirty- during the 3 days that I stayed there they were not vacuumed. The bathroom/toilets were quite clean however the ventilation in the showers should be better. When one enters after another person just had showered it is too steamy. Also there is no coffee machine, this would be great to have.

Perfect for a short stay and solo travel. Location is great, the staff were super friendly and the "room" was clean and modern. Bed was comfy and they give you extra things such as a robe and towel to use during your stay which was amazing service. Was also pleasantly surprised with how clean and modern the bathrooms were. If I was to solo travel New York again, I would definitely stay here.

    10JessicaPosted on: 1-13-2026

Fantastic amenities, phone charging station, robe, eye mask, everything you could need.

Rooms were slightly more connected than expected, with connecting ceilings so noise making the noise very detectable. But everyone was super respectful and had no issues, just made me overly conscious of my movements.

    5IxchelPosted on: 1-9-2026

It has all the basics to stay and it’s close to the subway

It’s a little bit small and the ventilation system is not so efficient.

    10NaggindaPosted on: 1-7-2026

I happened upon this little gem, for some reason, I always thought capsule "hotels" only existed in Japan (LOL). But I'm sooo glad I found this place, all my friends will know about it!! It has such a beautiful design and so clean and cozy; it's definitely my go to place in the city from now on!!! Just a side note, there is no microwave or refrigerator so you'll definitely be eating outside for the duration of the stay. But there are some great restaurants around and a nice bodega near by.

There are no elevators at this property, so something to think about luggage wise.

    8AlvaroPosted on: 1-6-2026

Location is great, the facilities are kept clean, the rooms are very small but they are also clean/relatively new furnishings

No elevator to 4th floor, but there’s really nothing you can do about it; it is what it isThe walls are thin/don’t go all the way to the ceiling which transfers sound easily; however this might be due to fire code etc (again; it is what it is)

    10RudolfPosted on: 1-6-2026

Incredible location, clean and well-equipped rooms, helpful staff.

The beds are a bit short.

    6WilliamPosted on: 1-3-2026

The place was clean the room was clean

The room they put me in was right in front of the big window there was no heat I called downstairs they tell me I will send you up another blanket so I froze the three days I was there never again I'm not about to sit there and argue with people the last time I was here all hours of the night people singing in their rooms and whistling and slamming doors and nobody comes up and says nothing terrible
