Beautiful boutique quaint historic hotel.2nd stay at this hotel absolutely adorable. Highly recommend. Close to subways, busses, shopping and restaurants. Safe area. Uber within minutes.

Although staff are so helpful and attentive there is no lift. Didn't mind the stairs as I was on the 4th floor it was same height as my house. Just luggage can be hard.No water had to buy from vending machine or outside.

Friendly and helpful staff. Very small room, clean, excellent location. No elevator as it is a historic building. We didn’t have breakfast. Tea and coffee in the cozy sitting area.

The ticking in the heating system (all night)

The location and the hotel overall was good.

The room was very narrow with almost no space to store clothes for 5 people, Also, the shower screen was too small and water spills out; a full-size screen would really improve the experience. The TV was very old, no Netflix, and can't connect to any devices.

Option for 5 of us to share a room. Staff very helpful. Room was comfortable and cleaned everyday, with beds made and clean towels. Location was excellent for all the tourist activities we wanted to do. Quick ride on the bus or subway or walking if we felt up to it (walked to Brooklyn bridge for sunrise on the first day - spectacular). Comfortable public places to sit if you want to bring food back to the hotel to eat.

Bathroom was a little small and needed some repairs. However it was functional and shower was good.

Great hotel and the location is awesome if you’re taking the subway around the city. I was attending an event at Hudson Yards and It’s a 3 min walk to the B and D trains at grand street which can get you there in about 15 min, including the transfer to the 7. My trip to and from Newark (EWR) was 1h 15m each way including the transfer at Penn Station. Tip: if you’re coming from Penn Station google will tell you to walk on the street to get to the B/D trains at 34th street. This is a hassle if you have a bunch of luggage. Instead of that you can take the A/C/E train from Penn Station downtown to West 4th station. From west 4th you simply walk down to the platform for the B/D trains and only two stops to grant street. The hotel also offers free luggage storage in a secure room so if your flight doesn’t leave until after check-out, mine left at 5pm, you don’t need to worry about pulling your bag around all day.

Lack of elevators would be an issue if you need accessibility options, but if you’re able-bodied it’s not a big deal.

Location was excellent! Room was spacious, pillows and bed were comfortable, it was clean.Lobby smelled wonderful and was very chic and unique!Wonderful, wonderful staff. Very helpful and always smiling/positive/greeting.

Bathroom fan ran anytime the bathroom light was on. Would be nice to have fan and light separate.Lighting could be improved (a bit dark).

The hotel was centrally located -easy access to restaurants, subway stations and unique boutiques. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel itself had character with hip decor. It was always clean and made you feel comfortable and special!
