    Pros +

    • The hotel is located within walking distance to Koreatown, time square, and broadway.
    • Location, doorman service, some front desk staff, manager at breakfast, upgrades
    • Good and friendly Staff

    Cons -

    • I had a car so I was sad there wasn?t any on-site parking available at the hotel. I called ahead to inquire about parking in the vicinity however whomever answered the phone told me to go on google. Not what I expected to hear from the front desk clerk.
    • Room size, housekeeping, no option to select lower floor on booking. Some front desk staff are not proficient in the English language which caused some requests not to be actioned causing inconvenience. Non receipt of charges, still waiting for an email.
    • Good location, quiet

    The location

No coffee in the room. There was coffee in the lounge but not to-go cups during the day.

    7Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 7-8-2019

Location - very close to Penn Station and Empire State Building. Staff was friendly. They offer free drinks at the lounge and free continental breakfast.

The hotel is very outdated and room is very small - typical NYC hotel. The room is not very clean and the shower is very weak. Took forever to wash off the soap.

    Great price for the location

Breakfast needs eggs and bacon, not just carbs everywhere.

    10WesleyPosted on: 3-14-2018

Location is amazing right off of broadway and subway station amazing priced!

Room was a bit warm and I couldn’t figure out how to adjust the thermostat

    9Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 12-15-2017

Boutique lobby. Clean & decent size room (we did 2 twins). We did not partake in the complimentary breakfast (just continental, cold carb breakfast but Haralds up the street was great)

The entire hotel was overly warm during a cold December stay. I tried to turn on the AC in the room to try to cool it but even when set at 68 deg it was 80 in the room. Hard to sleep. But that is only complaint.

    1RyanPosted on: 12-12-2017

The room was on inside with no windows. The heat controls were controlled by hotel and blew all night long. There were no windows to open and the window outlet for the AC was shut off by the hotel. Heat stayed too hot to breath throughout night. I left no

    5Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 12-12-2017

    The location was great.

This hotel is a price only hotel. The furniture is old, scratched resembling something from a garage sale. The ceiling had patchwork paint and the carpet was worn. No coffee maker in the room. The elevator was rarely available.

    Location and staff attitude

Lack of fitness facilities or maybe even an agreement with nearby gym

    8Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 7-25-2017

Great location, close to the Empire State Building and shopping areas. Friendly staff and clean, comfortable rooms.

    8ShainePosted on: 7-15-2017

it was the lowest cost decent hotel between downtown and central park

    super outdated furnishings

    5Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 5-9-2017

Location, free internet, free continental breakfast, very friendly and competent staff

The room was a bit crammed, the towels were abrasive, and the window/view was pretty gross. But for a Manhattan hotel steps from the empire state building, I guess it got the job done for what it needed to do for a quick visit.

    3Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 4-18-2017

This hotel is ridden with either construction noise or club music. Came there for a quiet night sleep. The accommodations are worn, but clean. Would have NEVER stayed there if I knew I would have a club in my room and couldn't be moved.

    8Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 3-13-2017

Great location to Madison Square Garden and mass transit.

    Room was a little warm.

    9GustavoPosted on: 3-7-2017

the location was excelent, really confortable. it felt so good to be there. An exceptional price/location relation for this hotel. They also cover three languages in the frontdesk.

it was under reparations and it was never told to us, anyway nothing anoying happened due this situation, but the breakfast room was moved to a small room and sometimes you have to wait a few minutes to enter.

    10PengPosted on: 2-12-2017

Location: 1 min walking to Broadway, 5th Ave, Empire Building; 1 min to M1/M2/M3/4 bus stop to goto MET, 1 min to metro station (B,D,F,M,1,2,3), many restaurants closed to hotel Very good and helpful staff I will choose this hotel for further stay in NY

    10Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 2-9-2017

Lobby a little small, but nice. Huge room, double the size of a typical NYC hotel room. Located right in the middle of it all. We ate at five or six different places, sang karaoke and only walked 3 blocks all night.

The Check-in guy must have been new, he asked for ID from both gueets, I've never heard of that before. Then he tried to charge me for the room which was prepaid, but luckily there was a nice woman there who set him straight.

    1Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 2-9-2017

The location is convenient, across the street from the 34th Street 1, M,F, B, D subway trains.

I hated this hotel.Wifi is spotty & goes down every 6 hours (you have to re-enter your password, which staff failed to inform me), the room had 1 pillow & lacked a desk lamp, bathroom light fan was noisy, the hotel bartender pours stingy 1/4 glass of wine.
