The Gotham Hotel

The location was fantastic, staff just as good. Clean. Great value. Restaurant in the hotel was perfect. Definitely will go back in the future.

The furnishings in the room were worn, the shades don?t fully close, the lobby is under construction so it feels unwelcoming. The room felt cheap for a 4+ star hotel.

The hotel is in a great location with a short walk to Time Square, Empire State Building, Rockefeller, shopping and Grand Central Train.

Special thank you to hotel employee at check in - she acknowledged my husbands birthday with a bottle of wine. The bartender / waiter was super friendly and made my hubbys birthday memorable. All the staff was pleasant!!!

The bathrooms need some deep cleaning and the floors in hotel room need to be refinished.

Nice clean rooms, liked the back bar/restaurant, went to the big gym - it's 15 minutes away but a 'full' gym so worth the walk

My room had 3 windows and blackout blinds on each window. The problem is there are 2-inch gaps between each blind, which lets a lot of light in...

The room was very spacious, and comfortable. The location was excellent. The hotel bar was perfect, with the cocktail list! The staff were always very pleasant and helpful

The lighting in the room was very poor. There was no vanity mirror in the room itself, only a floor length mirror and the lighting on this mirror was not suitable for makeup application.

Great area, front desk staff were awesome and we had a balcony which was nice.

Never stayed ! I was walked ! They called me day before and said they could not honor my paid I full reservation ! Have not refunded me for not honoring my reservation!

The room was was surprisingly spacious, bed was super comfy, and appreciated having a crib available for my baby and double operable blinds to keep the room dark! Also, LOVED having a noon check out time and the perk of free treats from the mini bar.

There were aspects of the room that definitely could use a spruce up, the hotel room door didn't close all the way on it's own and I didn't notice at first that the door was propped open. The crib also looked pretty rough, chipped painted metal...but it worked fine!

Perfect location, nice and friendly staff, comfortable room and plenty of space for NYC.

We only have a chance to speak to front desk stuff both guys were wonderful, polite, professional, and helpfulUnfortunately, we checked in during a break in a restaurant so we had to go out to eat! Which wasn’t a problem took me a while to pick this location. It was perfect for what we needed it for.

Location is good.

Thick layer of dust running along the top of the bed. After a quick glance other parts of the room also hadn’t been cleaned in a long time.

Comfortable bed, balcony and very friendly and polite staff

Maybe I should have asked so I am not going to blame, but lack of drinking water not visible

Location, the vibe, the cleanliness and the hospitality.Brilliant location for traveler’s who’d like to walk the city. Close proximity to Times Square, Rockefeller, Empire State Building, MOMA etcRooms are spacious and clean. The street view of the hotel is brilliant. Our checkin and checkout was super quick. Thanks to the staff for being so efficient and warm. The breakfast is just awesome. Highly recommended to book with breakfast. We’d surely book them again for our future visits to New York.

The staff were very accommodating and friendly. The room was spacious and very clean. The bed was super comfy, nice bathroom.Excellent location

The air con was extremely noisey and had to switch it off over night.

I like the location, and the room is spacious by NYC standards. The heater works well, which was important since I arrived early on a very cold day. The ground-floor restaurant is also good.

The check-in experience didn’t feel very welcoming. The staff member during check-out was nice, though. The hotel feels a bit dated, and as a solo female traveler, I found myself feeling paranoid about the noises I could hear such as the heater, toilet, and alarms from other rooms which made me a bit uneasy.

Location was superb.

The lack of amenities. It said there was a fit was center and then we found out we actually had to go to a local gym, approximately a 10 minute walk. We also got a call after we left saying we melted the phone in our room, in which we didn’t even touch.
