What Guests Loved

Pros +
- Free water bottles in lobby and the $25 per day meals credit
- Love that they have live music in the lobby at night. Breakfasts very good.
- Loved the boutique atmosphere, the area was perfect and close to the subway to travel to different areas of NYC. Nice Jazz in the evening in the lobby which was such a lovely touch!
Cons -
- Include the flat per-night $40.00 Faci Fee, the $3.55 Facility Fee Sales Tax, and the $2.35 Facility Fee City Tax as part of the room rate instead of having it be a surprise in the final invoice. Still not sure what a Faci Fee is.
- The hidden taxes and fees that were added at the end was just annoying. Also, we were told that we had a $25 a day breakfast credit. We were given the credit only once.
- Only negative was that our room was right off the elevator on the 8th floor and the maids would congregate outside our room with all of their cleaning carts and were talking and we could hear everything in our room.

The aethetics and decor were perfect. From the comfortable (and gorgeous) lobby with plenty of space to lounge or work, to the absolutely delicious restaurant, to the charming and very comfortable art deco fashioned rooms - this hotel was a delight.
not a thing.
Location, ambience, staff, view from room, great lobby
Customer service top notch. Warm and cozy. Amazing shower - water pressure will knock a grown man down.
Small rooms and beds but comfy and cozy. No mini fridge.
Aesthetically uts a masterpiece. Location us oerfect.
AC doesnt work. Our tooms were 80 degrees. I heard others complain. The staff was nice but low level knowledge about restaurants. They were like low paid temps. As opposed to hiring knowledgeable high class experienced staff in hotel industry.
It was beautiful, everyone was great friendly and professional very good experience
There were two objects in the top corner of the room near the ceiling. One blinked with a green light constantly and another was a red light that would go on randomly all night long. These lights made it difficult to sleep. no coffee maker/ice machine
Fun lobby, really liked the overall vibe
Super small room, no drawers for clothes
Location, style,clean and quiet.
The bed could have been more comfortable but it was ok.
Good location clean
Small room
Location. Friendly staff. Building.
Small room which is fine, but maybe some coat hooks on the door or a few more space conscious storage.
Beautiful view of the Empire State Building. Close to NYU. Excellent restaurant.
rooms are small but it is New York City.
The interiors and general decorating was all well suited
It was strange that on a Friday night the check in staff were double teaming and were more focused on answering the phone than helping more than one person.
quiet. No traffic, etc., noise.
No coffee machine in room. tv reception-frequent and intermittent "no signal available" for various channels.
Great staff, convenient restaurant and bar for the days you don't feel like going farther, functional and comfortable room.
The room is small, but that's no different from similar hotels in the same area. Storage is a little minimal and not quite enough for all my clothes and I was alone and didn't have that much.
Nicely decorated , convenient location, good wifi signal
Problem with room temperature, had to change room second night
The staff were nice.
The rooms were the size of a janitor's closet. They had no space for clothes (closet or drawers), so we kept everything in our luggage for the week long stay.
Great position. Quiet location. Very helpful staff. Nice feel to the place.
The sharp corners on the bed frames were a bit painful on a few occasions.
The overall character of the hotel was great. I loved the lobby, bar/restaurant, and location of the hotel. The room was quaint, but very small.
The rooms were very small. It was fine for us because we didn't spend much time in it, but it was definitely close quarters for 2 people.
