The Standard - East Village

The location and price were a true bargain!

The wait staff in the dining room were lackluster. They barely smiled and seemed like having customers was getting on their nerves as they had to put down their phones. I asked my waitress for a spoon for my coffee and she rolled her eyes.

Yes. The fact the room was not cleaned during stay. There were only 2 towels provided in room. I understand COVID but fresh towels should have been provided for a 4 night stay and garbage removed. This is reason for poor ratings in above.

The outdoor spaces for dining are the best I've been to in NYC. You really feel like you're in Europe sitting at their sidewalk cafe and Narcissa for dinner on a nice night is heavenly.

It was clean and modern.

The bed was lumpy and soft. However the sheets were white and crisp with a white duvet. It looked lovely, I just found the bed way too soft for me.

The Team Members at the Standard were incredibly friendly - each and every one of them. The hotel was very coolly appointed. The room, though small, was very well laid out and comfortable. The bathroom was surprisingly large and had heated floors!

The bar was gréât un terms Of ambiance, and the staff erre al vert friendly and helpful.

The Ron was mot vert clean, specifically, The carpett and Windows. Also, the food was mot high quality.

Amazing staff, you get the service you pay for. The cafe below the restaurant was convenient and had killer food!!

Heck no!

I stayed on the 17th floor and the views were incredible. The room was perfect for one person, and could comfortably accommodate a second, although the wardrobe space is somewhat limited. Breakfast is served à la carte, which was a nice touch (not included in the price of the room), and the bar is excellent.

I stayed at The Standard, East Village for two weeks in January. They kindly upgraded me to one of their suites at a discounted rate, which I greatly appreciated. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, the staff were exceptionally friendly and made me feel truly welcome.The suite offered a wonderful view and plenty of space, with two cozy rooms. I could tell the hotel team works well together and has great camaraderie. I was pleasantly surprised that the doorman, Dom, even remembered my name.The Cuna restaurant downstairs was another highlight. It serves delicious Mexican food, and the service was excellent
