The Central Park North

It is in a great location, however, it is very hard to find street parking. I ended up getting a violation parking ticket which added $115 to my stay.

There is no AC or Fans in the room. It was in the 70s while I stayed there but it felt like it was 90 inside due to the humidity and how hot it was.

Leaving

Rooms were trashed. Bed was supported by rough sawn 2x4s. Floor was peeling and falling apart. Floor was filthy. Common areas dirty.

Deposit of 200 usd for only one night is crazy for this hotel. Dirty room.

I liked that it was around the corner from Central Park.

I didn't like that we had to share a bathroom and shower room with the other guest on the 1st floor. Although bathrooms were cleaned and disinfected professionally every single day. I'm just a little pandemic paranoid.

This room was amazingly cheap for NYC. The room and shared bathrooms were clean, the staff was friendly, and the hotel is located less than a block away from the subway.

I wish I had done more research before deciding to book here. I was under the impression when I booked that the Central Park North was a bed and breakfast, but it most definitely is not.

Room was spacious

Shared bathrooms? No bathroom in the room. Only one bathroom and shower stall for entire hotel. My room was situated right next to the bathroom stall. Toilet noises all night. Not good.

spent little time there but I did need antacids at one point, did not ask for them from front desk but did not expect them to have any ...

Very affordable, close location to all of the action at a fraction of the price of other hotels.

It was not a problem but keep in mind that there are shared bathrooms. You do not get a private bathroom

The shared bathroom was not great, but it was clean and near our room.

The location was about it.

There was poop all over the toilet and trashcan. There were several hairs that we're not mine on my bedspread. There was food stuck on the unused silverware in my room. The bed is hard as a rock and the stairs and doors are extremely loud. Horrible night!

I found the place was an above average value for the price and I would reccommend it to others, the rooms were large and the bed was very comfortable they had a full kitchenette and the location was very conveinent.

The room was at the front of the building and thus, was noisy from the street. When I booked this, I didn't realize there was a not a private bath.

It was close to the north end of Central Park.

There was NO BATHROOM in the room, it was down a long hall. It was FAR from everything. The only "restaurant" was a Dunkin' Donuts. IF there were other places to eat the hotel "staff" (for lack of a better word), did not tell me. I would not stay there.

The walls are so thin, doors and stairs are squeaky, we could hear people in the next room and on the corridor. Bathrooms on my floor were tiny

Everything is new.

I was told to relocate in a different hotel,same name although. 10 min drive north. No front desk after 11pm. Room is small. I booked two beds but it only have one queen bed. Trains pass by all the time. Really close and loud. Thin wall. unpleasant smell.

Its a very clean bed & breakfast stay. The young lady at the front desk was very friendly and professional, It was very quiet as well. However the room I stayed in was a bit small nonetheless very comfy. Will def revisit

The ladies were really nice & helpful... Room was very clean with microwave, refrigerator & A.C.

The breakfast was a bagel, a packet of coffee, a pat of butter and a pat of jam in a plastic sack hung on a hook on the outside of your door! There really was no breakfast!
