AKA Central Park

The location was perfect for what I needed to get done in NYC and price was a great value and the room had what I needed for my stay. They had a fridge, a blender, dishes and the free internet was very helpful.

The floors could have been cleaned better. I found a dog food kernel and some old contact lenses on the floor in the corner of the room. There was also mold around the bath tub in the gap between the tile and tub. Otherwise everything else was fine.

Our room lacked a full length mirror or a shower head that stayed in place. Fairly minor but annoying all the same

None. I have stayed at the other AKA hotels in the city; Central is not my favorite but it does have the best location.

Really dark room, a bit dated

I think I’ve finally found the place to stay in New York. I come to the city three times a year as a tourist, and after countless hotels and apartments, AKA Central Park is by far the cleanest place I’ve ever stayed in. Immaculately maintained, spotless, and genuinely comfortable — it immediately felt like home.What impressed me even more was the team. Everyone — from the front desk to housekeeping — is incredibly warm, welcoming, and genuinely happy to work here. You can feel that they put their heart into what they do, and it creates such a calm, caring atmosphere.Honestly, part of me doesn’t even want to write this review because I know more people will discover how great this place is… and then there might be no rooms left! But the team here deserves all the appreciation. Thank you for making every stay special — I’m done searching for a better place in NYC.

LAUNDRY FACILITIES,Nice Lobby, Location

My room was not ideally located…view was a construction area. The price was extremely high for the studio, with no daily cleaning…I would have been better off at a full service hotel

The location is great, close to Central Park. The kitchen was helpful with a decent size refrigerator, microwave, dishes, coffee pot.

There was a kitchen, but no where for two people to sit and eat…no table and chairs. We had to have ice delivered to us, which was inconvenient. The lounge was only open M-F, which we found out on Saturday.

Location was excellent. Staff were helpful, apartments were fully equipped, laundry was an added bonus. Bed were comfortable and Overall it was an amazing stay. I highly recommend staying here

The outdoor noise, sirens and roadworks, which you can't do much about it

Spacious room and living room, comfortable bed, almost complete kitchen. Super friendly staff. They were able to change the shower head to a handheld one to accommodate my husband who was recovering from surgery.

Poor lighting, no cooking utensils, bathroom was a bit too small, hard to have everything needed at hand.

The rooms were exceptionally clean and surprisingly large for New York - I was pleasantly surprised, checking in was smooth and every member of the team that we met and engaged with were professional and went out of their way to provide assistance. The facilities were also great - the gym, cinema room, laundry services etc.

Prior to my arrival, I needed to pay for the booking in advance due to the fact that I was arriving later than my family. This was an EXTREMELY difficult process and I had to provide so many documents and jump through so many loopholes in order to pay! I am a seasoned traveller and have never been through such an arduous process. Sara and her team were professional and did their best to accommodate but this is a note to higher management to look into this - it needs to be streamlined and in line with payment processes in 2025.

Good location

Not enough lighting in bedroom and living room. Tub shower difficult to get in and out. Not enough drawer space.

Great stay and Giovanni was the star of our show! He met us at the Uber and took our bags in. Checked us in EARLY to our huge, clean, stylish room and seemed to always be there as we came and went. All hotel staff were amazing! We were welcomed with a little swag bag :) Free laundry was great, as we had already spent a week on vacation and needed a refresh. The lounge was a nice spot for a drink in front of the warm fireplace. AKA was a great spot to kick off the dream Christmas in New York leg of our vacation!

We were on the 14th floor, with blackout shades, but the exterior uplights still made for a bright room until just before 6am each morning. I would avoid this floor in the future, but definitely stay again at the hotel!

Top location, very spacious rooms (technically small apartments) per Manhattan standards. Also very well equipped. We've got a big microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge, and it was a great plus to see paper towels and dishwashing liquid provided.

There's some noise either from AC or fridge in a room. Also the rooms and doors are not very soundproof. Nonetheless it was very rare we heard voices from outside. It's also hard to get nice view from this hotel, but this is Manhattan. Our view on surrounding buildings was totally acceptable

the apartment Spaces were perfect!

The AC sounded Sooooo LOUD it woke us up every night! They Should Change the compressor to a more modern one!

Location is good but for the price, at least some body lotion! Some extra! It's very expensive for what it is! The staff is kind. The laundry is nice but the dryers do not work! I mean unless you do it 5 times! The gym is nice! But yes overall it's overpaid! I don't know offer the breakfast, something! Or just lower your prices!

Great location, nice amenities very comfortable.

Noise, the opening and closing of adjoining room doors was very annoying!
