The location was great. Updated bathroom. Polite and helpful staff. It was a very quiet hotel. You can get a great price in a great location here, but that's all you are getting - affordability and location.

Room was very old, dated, and musty. Air conditioning didn't work. "Queen" bed was actually a full-size, and the quality of the mattress was very poor.

Terrific Location right near High Line and Chelsea Market - and close to subway stop Cool vibe in the lobby and very attractive room with thoughtful touches, like high quality toiletries including even toothpaste

The front desk staff was friendly at all times. They went out of their way to be helpful and cheerful. The free breakfast was also a great bonus, and a very nice set up.

The staff were so friendly and helpful. One of the employees befriended my son and they made nic-names for each other which made the stay fun. The free breakfast was high end. Seriously, great ambiance and a great stay.

Every time I get to visit NYC for work or play I love to stay at the Maritime Hotel! I liked the pre-reno hotel so much better it was just cooler. It was very sexy rock n roll without trying so hard but I understand things have to change to survive!

the mattress wasn't my favorite, it didn't seem like a regular mattress. I didn't look to see what it was but it was rather thin and not that plush

I did not like that this hotel only has rooms with 1 bed. Ideally I would've liked a room with 2 beds. The room was also pretty small. There was a mini fridge but no microwave.

Rooms were nicely appointed, good size, very clean. Lobby was lovely & cozy with it's far wall fireplace.

Look, I know the restaurant is by a big name chef but 18 for breakfast when I can go to The Rustic Table get fresh sourced ingredients for an awesome meal at 12 bucks.You've gotta make the prices appealing if you want people to stay in house to eat

Great location, right across from Chelsea Market and very close to the High Line and the Village. The designs of the hotel (lobby and room) have great character. Room is somewhat small but the designer made great use of the space.

the room was small but beautiful. modern & clean. the location was fantastic, the staff was excellent.

the ONLY thing that i would suggest is to put a vent in the bathroom. everything else was perfect!
