I was warmly checked in by the night reception and offered a noon time late check out. In the morning the housekeeping burst into my room at 11 am Then the reception banged o my door at 1145 and told me I would be charged for late check out...terrible!!

Good location.

No hot water! TV did not work.

Location was good, room and linens (sheets and towels) were clean and comfortable.

1) The wardrobe had no hangers and no rod to hang them on. Even after I told the front office guy, it was not fixed. 2) The faucet in the sink sprayed water all over the place, making a big mess. 3) No option to keep the same linens throughout my stay.

Staff at the desk was the friendliest person I have ever met in NYC. I have been staying at this Hotel and others around the area for the last five years and this visit was incredible because Staff is the best.

A bit noisy on the first floor- seems to echo into the hallway but not horrible.

The hotel is in a really nice location. It?s definitely sufficient for the weekend.

The front was empty when I arrived so I had to wait. The room came with a TV but no remote so it was useless. The issue is they made small charges to my CC every day with no explanation that added up. I didn?t dispute it because I knew it was pointless.

This is the second time I stay in this hotel, I had forgotten my state there, had I known I would not have stayed. Very poor experience. It felt like a cheap motel with poor service and quality.

It says the hotel was 3.5 stars, everything was poor quality, very loud, staff not well trained, less than average entrance. It felt like a very cheap and dirty motel

Great location, clean room, friendly front desk, good value

Was charged a facilities fee that I was not informed about and not expecting. Room was smaller than expected.

The best part about this hotel is probably the location. Very close to the places/restaurants we wanted to go to. Less than a 10 minute walk to the nearest station as well as a short walk to the delicious Kat's Delicatessen!

Unfortunately, the room we got was basically in the basement. No windows or views of the city. The air conditioning/heating unit was also creaking LOUDLY every 15-20 minutes. If my partner and I weren't heavy sleepers we would not have been able to sleep.

Close proximity to scheduled event.

Very unpleasant & unprofessional check in experience. Desk clerk created confusion about matching names that amounted to a 30 minute delay. After a long day of travel I was late to my event. Will not frequent the Gatsby or any of its sister hotels again.

Location and exterior of building were excellent.

The hotel wifi, both in lobby and in room, was inoperable. I took my phone and laptop around the hotel and nowhere did it get anything close to "high speed" wifi. No gym. No water bottles provided.

The shower did not drain so it just pooled at my feet and took forever for the sink and shower to get hot. There were long black hairs around the room

Location, Location, Location ....

It is minimally minimalist! No thrills no frills - two beds a tiny bath and quite possibly the worst water pressure I can recall in a hotel, ever. That said though, it served it's purpose. It was priced less than nearly everything around it during UN Wee

It's convenient and generally clean. The staff are helpful and nice.

I was put in a dark basement room. The basement is noisy. Also, one of the pillow cases on my bed had blood on it.

Location is excellent, close to the subway that connects you everywhere within a few minutes. Staff very helpful and very polite.

They don't have a refrigerator by the room, so we had to leave medication in the reception. Cleanness could be better.

Great location for where we were going

Room was not cleaned. Had to be moved to another room that was in the basement. Our party had to get split into 2 rooms. Weird smell required us to move 1 of the rooms again! In 1 of the rooms, you can hear everything going on outside. No sleep! Horrible!

Price

Inconvenient location Tv didn¿t work. Fixed window was loose and cold air was coming in. No box spring, just a mattress. Dirty walls in room

LOCATION

NOT 3.5 STARS HOTEL as rated, but 1*hostel instead. First room smells like Marijuana, changed us to another room. Second room was filthy, sheets were yellow with stains on them. Beds are low 2ft above the floor. Not as described.DO NOT STAY THERE.

Location was very convenient. Friendly staff, nice venue.

Walls are very thin. I was able to hear the water from the tub running next door.
