    Cons -

    • The elevators take a while and are often crowded. There were drain flies in the room.
    • A lot, cramped up spaces, No Cleanliness, The Crew has no clue, they cannot handle the guests, The lifts don't work properly.
    • Because the AC is regulated at 68, the room got very stuffy while out for the day and at night while you were sleeping.

Greeted pleasantly. Was granted an accommodation to check in earlier since our arrival to the city was early. Room was clean and cozy . Staff was polite, excellent location with transportation and food and everything you might need is right outside. Room has mini fridge. Only reason I didn’t give it a 10 is because at some point we smelled what seemed to be Marihuana in our room as if it was coming in thru the vents . Happened twice during our two night stay . Besides that Hotel was a great choice I would love to return

I had a smell of cannabis during some point in my room . I think probably came through a vent .

Great location, room had everything you could need and the service provided was excellent. Cookies at reception were an extra nice touch!

I liked the location and smooth check in and out.

Size of rooms was small, rooftop bar was pokey and small and e tra payment to sit in igloos was an insult.

Amazing staff and central midtown manhattan location. Can’t express the brilliance of the staff enough

Rooms becoming dated/starting to face small issues such as window problems, leaks in shower etc

    Location to Javits Center

The tired decor, no lounge, asked for a room high with good view booked months in advance, allocated 1602 which looks out onto a brick wall with no natural daylight.

    7RichardPosted on: 2-3-2026

    Good location, clean

Very small rooms, and bed short!

Excellent location nearby to MSG, Times Square and Empire State Building. Staff very friendly, room cleaned daily to a high standard and comfortable, large bed.

Heating was a bit temperamental and wouldn't go as high as we would have liked. Accompanied by draughty window, the room was a little cooler than ideal. Room on the smaller side but comfortable for a short stay.

Good location, nice rooftop (although it’s also open to public so anyone can go)

Quite basic, small rooms. Our window faces a brick wall / window to an office, could see right in.They charged us for taking water from the minibar which we didn’t do. We had to argue for the refund. Often had to wait a long time for the elevators.

Really good location! Close to mostly everything! Really easy access to subway (Penn Station), heaps of places to eat around! Bagels, pizza, tacos! Rooftop is lovely and happy hour bar is great! Staff were very nice and friendly! Beds super comfortable!

Rooms are a little small but that's NY! If you're over 6ft just be prepared the beds are a bit short in length, husband is 6.2 and his feet hung off the bed a bit.

    Location convenient.

Staff mostly kind, but some were a little on the rude side. I got berated for not waiting to be seated one morning at breakfast which is infuriating when you are paying to stay there. This was in a largely empty breakfast area. Slightly laissez faire attitude. Things like toilet paper not replaced in the room. Breakfast poor and way over priced. Rooms ok if slightly tatty - stains on the furniture etc. But generally clean.

    The location to our destination

When we checked in at 11:30 PM, they had given our room to someone else and had to put us in a handicap accessible room. That did not have a desk or any counter space to put anything.

    9IsabelPosted on: 1-27-2026

House keeping was great and all the staff we spoke to were friendly and willing to help. The mattress was comfy. Shower was good and the shampoo/conditioner/body wash was nice also.

One thing let the room down- the duvet and duvet cover. Quite thin and unsanitary for the actual duvet to be easily exposed by the cover.

    3AlicePosted on: 1-27-2026

The bed was comfortable, but that’s about it.

    - no facilities for sitting down, chill area, lobby is ridiculously small- room was smelly and noisy the whole night despite the AC being off. It felt like we were on a plane- room was very small, hard to manage for two people with a suitcase- bottled waters is only for Hilton Honors members… which is a bit…. ridiculous but okay we bought our own or drank tap water- upon leaving we wanted to store our luggage for an hour or two, and they charge 5 USD per luggage, even for a small bag. This is not a customer friendly practice and during our different stays in NY this has never happened!- staff was not helpful and did not seem to want to be there (honestly, I don’t blame them)Because of all the above, I would never use this chain again, and seeing the comments online I am probably not the only one. A shame really, for the hotel and for the brand. This could be so much better with proper customer care instead of charging every single thing possible. This is giving cheap airline vibes.

I loved the location! We were walking distance from Times Square! Stayed near great food spots and less than a 5 minute walk from the subway station! I loved the rooftop! It had an amazing view of the Empire State Building. You could hear traffic but I truly did not mind it at all! The staff was able to execute my request perfectly!

I really don’t have any bad reviews. I do think the rooms could’ve been cleaned a little better, but that was just one night where I felt that way.
