The staff were so kind and attentive! They constantly asked if we were thirsty and offered us water or lemonade. It was raining during our stay and the staff gave us a free umbrella to use. The pool girl was a sweetheart!

Location was close to theater and times sq. Staff was warm and pleasant. Bed linen and bath robe was superior. Had a nice bar, spa and workout facilities. This is the only place to stay when in NY

No. Everything was over the top!

They did not have many rooms with 2 beds without upgrading to a room that would have bed. -- a night more. I did have to upgrade to a king size bed room for an extra $75 a night.

Great hotel and location

I had a queen room the room was very small. No closet so everything must stay in the suitcase. If you are there for a long stay then it is a problem.

Warm and courteous staff, exceptionally comfortable bed, large and luxurious shower, and a minibar that isn't outrageous by NY standards.

No coffeemaker or ironing board in room. These are available via butler service but, for those who would rather be more independent, I'd have appreciated easy access to these in-room.

The staff, the service, the room and the location all was perfect. The staff was always very kind and thoughtful. Bed very comfortable. Ultra chic and technology connected. they even provide a complimentary car service within the 20 bloc radius.

Lots of nice thoughtful small details. Although the room was small it was well appointed and felt high-end. Staff was very courteous and responsive.

Queen/King deluxe rooms adjoining another room can be noisy if neighboring guests are noisy. Had a terrible sleep because neighboring guests came back at 2am were very loud until past 3am. Staff tried to address it a couple times but it took a while.

Hotel was in very good shape. Great location. 4-5 star quality.

Note beds are doubles not queens.

Public spaces nice. Location is great.

Room was very small. Carpet needed cleaning. Parking expensive at $60 per night.

Yes for some reason they want to charge me $47 for their restaurant that I never used - seems anyone can just charge things to your room without verification / authorization

As expected and no surprises. Nothing to really mention here.

The little extras, like slippers at bedside nightly. Also, the count ncierge was wonderful.

Very impressed with this SPG hotel. The Luxury Collection is definitley something to experience. I loved the Toto Washlet, that was a great thing to look forward each morning.

Here, you truly get what you pay for.Our suite was spacious, spotless, and beautifully maintained, offering a peaceful retreat after long days in the city. Customer service across the entire hotel was exceptional.A special mention goes to Michael the bellman, who consistently went above and beyond. He always greeted us with a friendly smile, opened doors, assisted us promptly, and made sure we were taken care of at all times.The restaurant was amazing every dish was outstanding and truly felt out of this world. The overall environment of the hotel was not only immaculately clean, but also beautifully decorated, creating a calm and relaxing atmosphere.After all the walking around the city, the indoor heated pool and hot tub were exactly what we needed a perfect way to unwind and recharge.I highly recommend The Chatwal to anyone visiting New York City who wants to experience luxury, comfort, and exceptional service. If you want to be treated like royalty, this is the place to stay.
