Americas Best Value Inn New Paltz

Close to the thruway

Room wasn’t clean, beds weren’t queen size and the air conditioning didn’t work

Location

Was dirty. Staff was not friendly. No elevator

It was clean and priced well.

The breakfast could use improvement.

On the highway so room on the highway side quite loud early in the morning. People very active and loud right above us and noise insulation poor in that respect. Price doubled for the second day so had to move to a hotel much further away.

The location, cleanliness, comfy aspect.

The staff is fantastic. Their breakfast is the best I have ever seen. They keep their establishment, especially the rooms, very clean and stay on top of it

The location and value. The fact that a basic reasonably-priced hotel like this comes with a writing desk, a frig, a microwave, as well as simple breakfast is really good value, especially for downtown New Paltz.

Clean room and hotel star as expected

Lights; if you like dark, you have your clock light, microwave light, surge pro light, heater light, curtain crack light; was a bit challenging to subdue the lights. The turn off of the road is tough.

Location

Both chairs in the room were stained and the carpet had an odor of urine and was slightly damp

Clean room, reasonably priced, grt location

The breakfast was sparse

Clean, reasonable priced, comfortable bed

Location and breakfast

Couldn¿t connect computer to Wi-Fi

Quiet and non smoking place. Good breakfast as well.

Clean, comfortable , great staff

Hard to find. no signage. drove around for 1/2 hour trying to find. Phone number listed on website went to reservation sooicem not front desk.

Location

Room was small. No elevator. Breakfast was a joke. The charge a premium for a very stripped down bare bones hotel. It was right on par with Motel 6 which I should have gone there since it was half the price for the same service.

The room and bathroom were clean

The chair was very old

Pleasant staff clean

A/c could have worked a little better

This hotel was clean and super convenient to the New Paltz attractions and the NYS thruway. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. Rates were better than other hotels in the area.

Somewhat reasonable pricing.

Sticky carpets and old furniture that felt kind of dirty.

Price was good and room was clean

the CSR at checkin was professional but they asked to make a copy of my drivers license-said needed in case anything stolen or damaged, etc. this is extremely unecessary-could have taken down my D/L# in this age of ID theft. won't stay here again
