The Leeway

We had the best stay at the Leeway! While they dont have a traditional front desk or restaurant/bar, they make up for it with excellent and warm hotel communication via text. Anything we needed, they were a fast text away. The property is quaint, just off the river and close to so many Catskills favorites. The room was equipped with all we could need - including gear for outdoor excursions (which we did not need per se, but such a nice, thoughtful touch). Couldnt recommend the Leeway more if you are looking for a quick getaway in the area and want something a bit more laid back without sacrificing modern design and comfort

Feels like a private cabin, and the layout creates a much bigger sense of space. We only stayed a night while skiing but could easily imagine staying for longer periods.

A rustic style cabin nestled in the Catskills, located on an attractive property, next to the Esopus Creek.

The shower stall was a little tight with no space to place my soap and shampoo except ontop of the door frame. Similarly, the toilet was in a tight space as well. The walls were a bit thin as well.

The Leeway is a beautiful cottage type motel. The location and rooms are nice, clean and lovely. The quiet surrounding is peaceful.

While the Amenities are wonderful, one thing really bothered us. In the booking process, while selecting suits, we didn’t notice anywhere that those were duplexes with the beds upstairs n wash rooms downstairs. Also the stair cases are narrow spiral ones that we felt were very inconvenient. Wish they mention that duplex info and actual photos of the rooms in the booking sites. There is only a drawing of the rooms that is not enough. Apart from that - all were good.

Owner personal contact was excellent and treated us extremely well. Two separate rooms are big and good for us when we need a quiet place. Highly recommended when going to Castkill area!

so cozy and clean and the perfect little getaway!!! such a great location, close to Woodstock and great food and things to do. Seriously, we will be back!

You’re immersed in nature as soon as you get to the property. The biggest bonus is the creek running through the back where you can go anytime and sit by the fire pit, lay on a hammock or soak your feet in the water.

Literally nothing.

Little houses/ apartments in a very nice area. Perfect for a trip in the catskills. The communication was very thoughtful. We received all the necessary information and instructions to get into our room. There were tips of where to eat and what to do around the area to support local establishments.We had a great time.

The place was meticulously designed, studied to offer guests a comfortable and cozy stay. The welcome was great, and we were provided with directions and advice on how to best enjoy all that the area has to offer.

Beautiful, relaxing place. We saw bunnies, marmots, hummingbirds in the garden.

We stayed in the one bedroom suite, and the bathroom was tiny.

Amazing amazing and yes Amazing. I loved everything about this place, the access to the river amenities, the space and the design!

Nothing at all

-the rooms are adorable, tranquil and cozy. I didn't want to leave-love the lighting in the bedroom. made for great ambience-fridge and water pitcher-coffee, tea options and mugs -river access

The property was immaculate and loved the decor inside. We also had a lovely view of the river from our balcony which was just bliss!!

The property is so beautiful, everything is thought to the details - from the bonfire place outside by the river, to the camping tools, bath or kitchen facilities, or recommendations paper.Tena was very nice and welcoming, it was a perfect place to relax in nature with good conditions

So peaceful, charming and well designed little cabins. Short walk to the creek in the back. Easy to get to, clean and just wonderful

Beautiful riparian location. Nicely designed rooms and smartly appointed. Easy to get to, great base for all kinds of Catskills attractions (we went skiing at Belleayre from here, easy drive).

Rooms with adjacent rooms have thin walls. If your neighbours are louder, or snore loudly, you will hear it. But they have white noise maker in the bedroom, which is a nice touch and proved useful.

Peaceful location by a river.Cosy, comfortable accommodation with tasteful furnishings and stylish, newly renovated kitchen and bathrooms.Close to local restaurants, food markets, ski fields and the famous town of Woodstock.Great location for star-gazing and bird watching. Family friendly grounds. Great place to chill and hang out.
