Hampton Inn Binghamton/Johnson City

Free breakfast was pretty good.

Parking is NOT free. They surprise you with a $5 parking fee at check in. Towels were too small, and not absorbent.

The staff was friendly.

The bathroom needed updated, and the location of the hotel was odd because it was behind a major retailer and storage area.

Breakfast was great

We were put into a handicap room, which we did not like at all. It felt like we were sleeping on the floor

Bed comfortable. And seemed very clean.

Rugs dirty. Car continuously parked in front in drop off lane. Work out equipment in average condition. Understaffed- no breakfast monitor on 2nd day. No signage as to how to get to hotel from road!

Location

Saturday breakfast sucked. One old orange, stale bread and danish. No carts available when checking out and had to carry things from third floor. One elevator and it was in bad shape making noises.

The pool, the staff and the quiet environment.

The breakfast was not great. Not a lot of options. First day there was no juice, and the waffle machine wasn?t working either day.

It was close to our venue. The breakfast was good and the pool was warm.

They double charged me for my room. They told me my credit card on file didn¿t go through when in fact I got 2 charges for $145.90 on that card. Then I gave them my bank card and they charged 236.17 on that. I¿m unclear what to do about this

Close to the highway but wasn¿t noisy. Right behind Wegmans which made it convenient for getting a snack. Breakfast bar was excellent and kept well stocked. Pool was very nice and towels were provided.

Had to have staff to access pool. They said the access is being worked on. Very minor and only issue we had

Rooms were ok, bath tub was super slippery. Front desk staff was great. Breakfast was ok also. Loved it was let friendly.

We left rolls of wrapping paper in the room when we checked out and it disappeared. Brand new rolls that hadn't been opened. We wanted family close by to pick up and it was gone. We make multiple trips each year to this area but won't stay here again.

Breakfast/ pool / cleanness/ parking

Clean and quiet. Good location off highway next to a nice Wegmans.

Hampton inn is known for its cleanliness.

We were given a room that already had guests in it. Made the experience awful. Staff was empathetic but that was it. The more we thought about it. We could have been injured opening another¿s room.

The pool

There was a liter and a random pill on thr floor. Some sort of dark smudge across the bathroom door. The beds were so uncomfortable my back hurt for two days. The heater was so loud it kept waking me up. The elevator made a horrible bumping and shaking.

Just that the hotel gym was closed due to covid...but yet the pool was open?

they take no pride in their rooms. Dingy nasty towels. Stayed there once before. I Wanted to see if things changed after complaining. Nope.. I have yet been there where I didn't find hair in the bed or shower. unreal..

The staff was very nice, friendly and very helpful.

Price was too high for a middle of the line hotel. Room did not have bath towels when we arrived and bathroom trash had not been emptied.

Nice room, good breakfast, good location.

Fridge had a half empty water bottle in it from a previous guest.

Everything was brand new, the staff was knowledgeable and friendly. Loved the stay, will definitely consider coming back.

The hotel took an extra $65 off my card at check, 5 days later i still haven't gotten it back
