Comfort Inn Glenmont - Albany South

I was happy to find EV charging available although it was a bit tricky to use it. Had to make an acct etc rather than just use a credit card.

It seemed to be being renovated so there was an old/new mismatched kind of feeling

The rooms are rather nice and the breakfast is excellent I go here regularly.for the rates and what you get for your money is unprecedented.

They needtofixthe jets on the hot tub its had the jets not working sign up for over 2 years now I think its time to get it running correctly

this hotel provided a breakfast, frig and microwave at a decent price point. It is a bit out of the way, but worth the save in money from the Albany hotels.

When I called they were no help with directions depite me being 10 minutes away.

We missed the driveway during our first attempt and had to pull a big u turn to find it

my room (#142) had been recently updated, along with others at the south end of the building. breakfast bar was good. cozy lobby.

Location. Dirty. Unsafe. Looked like a truck stop not a hotel.

There are only sheer curtains on the window. The parking lot lights kept me up all night.

The hot tub was broken and we were not told about it when we specifically asked about a hot tub

It was clean, comfortable and had a substantial breakfast

The breakfast was well, that was about it.

I asked for towels to be brung to my room, I was given the towels & wash rags to bring to my room myself. Me & my husband had a do not disturb sign outside of the door, and there was house keeping outside of our room. Just standing there listening.

The single pane window was broken, so being right next to the highway I could hear road noise and normal conversation

Easy access from the i90, clean spacious and comfortable beds.

The hotel is very close to the train station which is great for travel

We checked in late and the staff was not the most welcoming

The room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast choices were extensive: waffle maker, eggs and sausage, yogurt, etc.

The hotel is located on Rt. 9W by I-87. I faced the Rt. 9W side. It was quiet overnight, but traffic noise was noticeable by 6 a.m. Also, the hotel driveway meets the road at an angle, making access a challenge, especially for left turns into it.

I arrived one day early and ask if they had a room I was told no it was booked. After I warmed the rep up with humor she said let me see what I can do. Then she found a room for me but she charged me a very high rate It wound up that she played me be

Breakfast and pool and exercise facilities coffee machine was nice to have in the lobby along with cookies midday

Service was excellent Their was a small restaurant/bar on the property and it had a guitar player and it was just really nice after a long drive. Food was excellent, music was good and the bartender was wonderful and friendly. Great night.
