Hampton Inn Geneseo

Quiet, clean. The pool is nice. The whirlpool was down for maintenance, but that's going to happen from time to time. (Didn't matter to me, as I had a room with a jacuzzi tub, which my sore body sorely needed). Lots of choice in nearby restaurants, and

I've stayed at a lot of Hamptons. The breakfast at this one was OK, but I've seen better at other hotels. Didn't see much in the way of fresh fruit or yogurt, which seem to be staples at other Hamptons. But really, no major complaints.

The breakfast

I was traveling with my boyfriend and 13 year old daughter. I booked a room with 2 double beds. When we arrived I was told there were no double beds left and that they would upgrade us to a king bed. My daughter ended up on an uncomfortable roll away

The location was wonderful for our visit to SUNY Geneseo! Check-in was quick, easy. I had an interesting and helpful conversation with the young man that checked us in. (He is a student at Geneseo)

The room was extremely outdated, and quite dirty. We wore shoes the entire time as the carpet was just disgusting. The bathroom was definitely updated and cleaner than the room, so we stayed but will never return to home s particular hotel.

The prince should have been lower since it was a room that would not have been rented if I hadn't decided to get a room for the night just that day.

The hotel was very clean. Clean towels, bedding, bathrooms. The staff was friendly and helpful. I was greeted with a smile and a warm welcome. No hassle check in or check out. The gal taking care of the breakfast buffet was on top of everything and great.

The front desk check-in person went out of her way to be helpful. She provided outstanding customer service. The breakfast was very good and a definite perk. The overall hotel and room was very clean and well kept.

clean, nicest place in town (newer hotel)

price seemed high for the area, for price paid I've stayed in much more luxurious hotels, but recognize that booking was last minute (day before)

Everything was in excellent condition. The free breakfast was very good - even the eggs were good, which is not often the case with these things. My wife thoroughly enjoyed the indoor pool and hot tub, while I snoozed on the queen-sized bed in our room.

No - there was nothing we did not like about this place. We have stayed at the establishment next door several times, and this place was much nicer - especially the indoor pool and hot tub.

The staff at the check-in desk were very helpful. They even upgraded our room to a suite because we had a 5th person with us - my mother. Two Hotel Employees are outstanding, freindly staff members.

A restaurant attached to the hotel would have been nice.. but there wasn't anything I didn't like.
