Not much of a breakfast selection (most likely due to covid restrictions).
We enjoyed our stay at the Hampton in Clay, New York. very close to where our daughter lives. So location was great. Very clean. very comfortable. We felt very safe with the virus going around. Everyone was super.
Friendly staff
The room was definitely not cleaned properly. Hair all over the bathroom sticky remote dirty microwave I was pretty disappointed to be honest. Staff was nice.
Windows open and are centered, not jammed in a corner. Rooms are large enough and well appointed. The stall shower was a huge plus.Roy Lichtenstein-like hall carpets are cool. The dining room decor is unusually nice for a Hampton. Nice landscaping.
I thought it should be given more stars. I had absolutely no problems staying here. Everything was clean, the staff were very nice and the breakfast they served was much better than some of the other hotels I've stayed at. I would definitely go back.
There was construction nearby making travel a bit difficult at times.

We have visited the Hampton before but never had such a terrible bed that feltlike flat cardboard mattress,the pillows were so flat you felt like you had nothing.The microwave would not work. We paid top dollar to go there but will never do this again.
